![](https://www.ringsidecollectibles.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/m2p20_curt_hawkins_pic1.jpg) Nobody buying that Curt Hawkins. He actually came in a "squash match" pack with Brodus Clay, who I guess Mattel thought was popular and would sell them well. Mattel actually first did the "squash match" thing with Mark Henry (who I believe reading on another forum actually sold a lot of action figures) and Trent as an excuse to make a Trent figure although he was a Superstars jobber. Then they did the same thing with Ryback and Jinder Mahal in 2013 (Jinder had a singles figure based on his 2011 push, but by mid 2012 was, of course, in jobberdom). ![](https://www.ringsidecollectibles.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/m2p17_trent_barreta_mark_henry_moc.jpg) Too bad the Trent figure looks like pure ass. "stretcher included"

I'd imagine the new Mean Gene Okerlund I saw at Wal Mart today wouldn't be met with much enthusiasm from a kiddo. Could you pick one up for me? Wal-Marts are scarce and few here in general.

I would gladly buy any of those if I saw them in stores.

![](https://ssli.ebayimg.com/images/g/dpcAAOSwcj1aC2wK/s-l1600.jpg) This warmed the pegs so long that I bet it melted the metal. I actually bought this figure when my local Walmart finally moved it to the clearance aisle for $1. I used him as a jobber. This the #1 answer here. If you didn't grow up in the 90s, you wouldn't understand that these things were in every store back in the day and NO ONE knew who the f*** this guy was back then.

That thing's probably worth money, at least a hundo. It’s going for $300 on eBay

The Nia Jax figures seem to be warming up the pegs quite nicely at my local Tescos.

I collected the Jakks Classic Superstars figures, had them all including the Toy Fair ones like black/white Piper. Ending up selling them all when Jakks lost the license, and didn't get back into the Mattel figures until this past year. I'm only buying the pre-1990 guys, but damn if distribution on these figures isn't total shit.

They claimed they didn't have money to sign Randy Savage, yet they wasted their money on that. The later series had a bunch of questionable legends. You can get Johnny Rodz, yet you can't get Dick the Bruiser or Bobo Brazil?

There's a video somewhere on my phone of him dunking Andy Kaufman into a toilet.

Can we talk about the Batista Mattel put out a couple of years back (No, not the awesome Blutista one) where his accessory was a "HIGHLY DETAILED TATTOO!" I really felt this was an insult to both collectors and kids, and showed how bad Mattel can shortchange us at times. EVERY Jakks figure had at least one accessory minimum. ![](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/1_tN7GXAWcc/hqdefault.jpg)

So this looks like it's up my alley. You actually sold me on this toy right now.
