For real, that was just a complete scumbag thing to do and I hope WWE catches some serious bad press over it. They went and charged people hundreds of dollars, undoubtedly thousands in some cases, just to give them a 205 Live house show in between watching TV with hundreds of strangers and with some dick jokes at the end.
It's a complete embarrassment that this was allowed to happen. Would it have killed them to at least have done Miz / Roman or Jobber Team / Jobber Team there? Or the Peep Show segment? It genuinely f***ing offends me that WWE pulled that shit.

The sad thing is, if Raw was going to be at the same venue 2 weeks from now, those same people would pay the same prices for tickets. Vince has them forever and he knows it.

The Crowd is subjected to basically watching over three quarters of RAW 25 on TVs, and on top of that what do they get as their "reward"?
- A Throwaway Undertaker Promo that doesn't seem to amount to anything
- Lince Dorado vs Mustafa Ali
- A Cruiserweight Tag Match that ends in a DQ
- Woken Matt losing clean to Bray Wyatt
- A DX Promo (Where they cut to commercial during Hall's Razer entrance)
- NWO/Club bullshit
- The Club vs The Revival, The Revival lost quick and clean... and then got beat down by old dudes.
- Also Miz showing up to slap hands and leave and I guess front row people got to keep their chairs as @jinxed pointed out. I would personally slam myself over the head with it for paying for this if I had.
This shit was one giant masking of a 205 Live House Show at like over double the price (Not including scalping which JR pointed out was going around just to get into the Manhattan Center) with some apparent Dark Segments that amounted to nothing. These fans were basically rioting and demanding refunds for good reason. They came in thinking it would be a huge show of nostalgia, and they got disrespected and 205 Live basically got thrown under the bus. Basically forced to sit on their hands and watch The Barclays basically get everything.
F*** WWE for this, this was absolute bullshit, and I feel bad for everyone who bought an overpriced ticket.

Well, I don't think they'll be doing two TV tapings simultaneously ever again. At least until they know how to balance the content between arenas. Id say its always a bad idea. Attending something live and having to watch a bunch of the key segments would suck no matter what. Youd always leave thinking about what you missed. |
