That "I'm so done with this shit" side eye is everything. She saw this thread and though “dumpster fire” was a swipe at her and her husband’s house.

I'm just kinda sorry that I tend to comeback here more often then not when I've been going that was a fun show. Let me see what the FAN forums thought. *looks* Oh I see. Welp not going to bother sharing my thoughts then. See ya next time. I'm going to leave for bed by reiterating This raw was not a dumpsterfire and I really think if you guys care about getting people to join up and post then that kind of toxic hyperbole is not what they shoukd see when they first wander over. Unless this is just a forum to complain about the product which as of late it really has become that. Good night. To be honest, the stuff from the Barclays Center was not bad, it was in line with recent Raws from what I am able to catch these days. Miz/Reigns was pretty good, the crowd ate up the Elias/Cena confrontation, they loved Austin and they loved crapping all over Jordan. I just felt bad for the fans in Manhattan as I was on the fence about getting a ticket a few weeks ago and I'm glad I did not.

The writing is so bad now that they couldn't even write the established legends who practically write themselves, correctly. Like...how do you f*** up The Undertaker? The WWE system needs a complete overhaul. Say what you want about HHH being in charge creatively, I guarantee we'd have gotten a better show than this. High point for most was Austin, and it's the same old shit (that's too easy to write because it's the same thing every time) that I was tired of him doing in 1999. I really wish there were some kind of backlash that Vince just couldn't ignore/fool himself into thinking he's right.

It wasn't a dumpster fire, it was a standard raw with some fun nostalgia. Was it the great show they hyped, and we all wanted for Raw25? No it wasn't, absolutely wasn't a dumpster fire.
In a perfect world the rumble would have been this past Sunday, instead of this coming Sunday, and Raw25 could have been full of the WrestleMania lead up moments we wanted.

Eh, I have to beg to differ here. If it were a regular Raw, yeah this was an okay show, aside from MC stuff. I'd have given it a 5. When you get burnt toast every week, if the toast is less burnt than usual you're okay with it. Happy in fact. But when they spend weeks promising you the greatest chocolate cake ever, and you get the same ol' piece of toast with tons of stale ass jelly on it, then yeah it's a dumpster fire.

I totally understand what you are saying, but being the go home show to the Rumble, I convinced myself nothing of actual note would happen....so i just prepared myself to laugh at the nostalgia and legends bits (as always Jericho delivered and i did chuckle at the Godfather and Henry skit) It wasn't the show that was sold, but i stand by the claim that it was an okay Raw.

Well that shit is just ridiculous, I may not agree with a statement but I'm not going to take it as a personal attack unless you literally start to attack me as a person. It's a discussion on a discussion board, I get if some people feel strongly about a stance but yeah no one is attacking you for feeling a different way, that's going over a line for no reason.

I feel like some people are getting really hung up on my word choice for the title, maybe that's on me, I wanted to think of something that would stand out, I would have gone with "disappointment", but I liked the way this sounded. For the record no I'm not calling this one of the worst RAW's of all time, but I'm not really calling it "Ok" either, it was honestly a letdown that really felt like it had deflated midway through hour two. The parts that really hurt was just how bad they seemed to drop the ball for what was hyped up and how bad the Manhattan Center got jipped, I felt like if anyone's souls were crushed it was those peoples for what they got and what they paid for what they got. But in any case, yeah, this segment didn't have a Bayley this is Your Life, an Old Day, etc., but all in all, it was definitely a bad RAW on those merits to me anyways.

Sigh. You know what actually doesn't contribute to positivity? The constant bitching about negativity is itself negativity. It's like, when do you guys actually make threads and talk about positive stuff instead of just finding the loudest negative guys you can and having it out with them like you think you are proving points? I see the same people bitch and moan and whine about how negative the boards are all the time, but I'd like to see them actually do something about it if it bothers them so much to see it like they claim the people complaining about the shows should.

The Manhattan Center crowd was certainly well behaved by the time they made it back to tv

The Manhattan Center crowd was certainly well behaved by the time they made it back to tv I don't know about that; there were yells of "Refund" through the entirety of Michael's segment until Trips began to fellate the crowd for a bit to get them back on their side.

By no means do I think it was an earth shattering show, but I....thought it was fine. I enjoyed more than I disliked.

To have promoted the past stars, they failed miserably. For one show, ONE show, it was the time to showcase all that made Raw what it was. I'm a casual fan now and tuned in for Austin, and several others we hadn't seen in a long time. The Dudleys are still fresh in our minds, but that's ok. DX certainly should have been there, but that segment will be remembered more for how bad everyone looked.
I'm not a booker, but a fan, and we should have been in mind when they planned this. It's hard to push the new talent on a special show like this. In fact, it wasn't needed. They could have gone a week without Elias doing a long ass segment, even though that was probably the biggest number of people that have ever seen him-but he bored them-I don't give a shit if he did leave Cena laying-who doesn't anymore?

First Raw I’ve watched since Goldberg returned to whip the Vanilla Gorilla’s ass. I have no beef with those that were entertained by the show. Hell, a good friend of mine was ragging I’m me for being super negative about it as we were texting during it. I just thought it was a bag of ass. Miz/Reigns was good and good to see Elias get a chance to shine, but other than that they did nothing to make me consider getting the Network again for Mania season. They sold me on nothing on a go home show. That and they wheeled out the same tired ass legends they do on every special show doing the same crap they do every time. Other than Austin and Torrie, I couldn’t get excited about any of them.
Also, DX can just f*** off until the end of time. Your shit is embarrassing. Old dudes joking about sausage. Piss off. Next time give me a nWo reunion with all 200 surviving members. At least that would be new.

haha I'll let you wallow in your raw tears. But just know there's lots of real soul crushing stuff in the world. Wrestling should be an escape from it. If wrestling becomes "soul crushing" by all means stop watching. Stop it. We're done doing this. I agree, but come on, the whole "you're telling me how to live my life and it's none of your business, how DARE you give an exaggerated reply to my exaggeration in the first place and now I'm personally offended, my lifestyle has nothing to do with you" act comes across as a little lame. If he was really using this to attack the personal lifestyle choices made by another person, (and I don't mean simply watching wrestling) then ok but I doubt that's what happened. Or maybe I should delete this post. Edit - After reading on I actually think the situation has resolved itself quite well here and people throughout the thread respond quite well. Both sides. I fear the moderators will lock the thread regardless because that aspect of the discussion carried on past their stopping point

Anytime RAW has a "Special" episode it usually sucks(Slammies, 1000th Raw, 15 Year Anniversary). This Raw was just par for the course.
