He was still somehow better than Booker.

All I know is that I looked up from my phone a few times because I heard someone say "wrestling" on commentary a few times and it was jarring.

Should of brought him back as lashleys mouth piece. TEW said they had good chemistry My TEW in a 1987 save had Lex Luger and Giant Haystacks form a bond over a shared love of video games

There's something a bit unsettling about WWE making it blatantly obvious that they will always have one minority on each show. Also, why can't it be someone from a different race, or more than one minority. How about a lady?
Anyway, I was half pay attention to RAW, but didn't notice Coach because later on in the show because he wasn't talking that much. I'm guessing he was chewed up for silly comments he made. I wasn't sure if he wanted to be a heel or was just lost throughout the night.
Commentary is a tough gig, especially for someone that hasn't been doing it for years. Booker T was really bad during his first run, but got a lot better as time went by.
I just want neutral commentators that don't take too much attention from the show. I'll give Coach time to loosen up before getting too fussy.

Ive always liked Coach as a character but never really enjoyed him on commentary
Make him the backstage interviewer or a manager for someone which would be a better way to use him

Honestly, I'm not sure which of the current superstars is willing or capable of doing commentary. My gripe is with how blatant they are about having one black commentator for each show. There's no guilt if the most qualified aren't a certain shade, but I do understand they do it to look good. With the commentators we have, I would only keep Cole and Graves on RAW and have Smackdown be Saxton and Phillips. Saxton gets put down a lot by Graves and doesn't add a lot of analysis because of that NXT should be Nigel, Percy and Renee in my opinion. Give Renee another shot and just get rid of Mauro. Its a developmental show and I don't see Mauro being with the expense. That's just my vision. Having three guys is really I unnecessary to me.

I didn't think he was horrible, I thought it was horrible how friggin Cole kept cutting him off and shouting something whenever he was trying to say something or answer a question from Graves.

He sucked. But on the other hand he just came back. It's gonna take a lot of getting used to doing this again.

Really, the commentary teams are doing an incredibly poor job of selling the in-ring action and making us want more - the primary reasons you have an announce team in the first place.

Like I said in the Raw thread, he sounded like a celebrity guest host who had never seen a wrestling show before and aws only there to promote their new movie. I don't mind him being back, but he'd be better suited in an interviewer role or on one of those PPV panels
