If you're a Rangers fan and an action figure fan, Hasbro getting the license is the best news possible. Very exciting and a lot to process. One thing I do think will happen, there will finally be some villains produced in action figure form. A 6 inch scale Lord Zedd and Goldar. I hope we get 4" Rangers figures in the style of GI Joe and Marvel Universe.

I'm curious about how they handed the megazord figures now since for the longest time, the megazord figures were just repackaged Super Sentai ones. Plus I wonder how this is going to effect the upcoming Soul Of Chogokin Dragon Ceasar/Dragonzord.

Maybe this time most of the old zords won't be a TRU exclusive

I'm 90% sure that it's just Hasbro has picked up the toy production rights from Bandai of America.

Does this mean we'll finally get legacy Shogun Megazord? For that matter, I want a new version of Serpentera.

Bandai America gets dropped and Saban & Hasbro announce that the next series is GoBusters aka the series that Bandai didn't want adapted because the toyline failed in Japan. Of course Bandai also demanded that Goseiger get adapted instead of just skipping to Gokaiger like literally everyone thought they should have done

It wont ever happen of course but it would be a helluva swerve.

That sounds a lot to me like the series is not continuing much longer. You mean the current string of TV series? Maybe. But if Hasbro gets all of Power Rangers in a few years (as is part of this Saban/Hasbro toy agreement), they'll fold PR right into the planned Hasbro cinematic universe and it'll sit alongside Joe, TF, MASK, ROM, Visionaries and the others.

So now that Hasbro owns it outright as opposed to just having the toy license, they can make Power Rangers/Transformers crossover product. Sign me up.

My Pet Monster and Popples are part of the "other" batch of properties. Hasbro naming them in the press release probably means those toys are coming back. There's a chance too that stuff like VR Troopers are part of the deal as well. Apparently Saban was sitting on a ton of IPs that were collecting dust. The TV series is safe as long as Nickelodeon wants it and the producers know how to run the show at a budget, but the movie franchise probably isn't. Perhaps to the first - Hasbro owns part of Discovery Family (formerly The Hub, which was all theirs) so there could be a slight chance that maybe they move it there. But they'll definitely fold Power Rangers into the cinematic "Hasbroverse" they're working on......it can't hurt to keep the newest cast (I'd like to think Elizabeth Banks being involved, which got them good buzz, is extra incentive to not recast everyone).

Just please don't end the Boom comics. That is by far the best Power Ranger property since it was a sensation back in the 90s I'm going to keep preaching that they finally do something with the comic. Make it a cartoon, anime, turn it into a movie do something to get more eyes on that because it's great

What's this the 2nd time Saban has sold Power Rangers? I can see them on Nick for one more season or however long Beast Morphers last for. Could be a reunion with Disney soon Also can we get the old episodes shown on TV. They used to do that on Disney when it was on there

What's this the 2nd time Saban has sold Power Rangers? Yup, looks like it. Saban & Fox sold it (and all of Fox Family, which became ABC Family) to Disney in 2001, Saban then bought Power Rangers itself it back in 2010, and now Saban's selling them (and a ton of other Saban properties) to Hasbro.
