Damn, another blow to the Power Rangers empire! I bought advanced tickets to see Power Rangers Live, but they postponed the show due to "production issues." It shocks me the franchise has been around as long as it has, but it will be a shame once it's done.  |

Damn the possible end to the power rangers franchise I hope not but bandai was pretty much the backbone.

Tokunation is reporting from their NY Toy Fair sources that Hasbro picked up the license. I don't think Saban would leave BoA if they didn't have a new licensee in place. But I'd be concerned if by Toy Fair nothing is announced though.
Toei is still producing Sentai, that's not changing.

If Power Rangers has to end then can we at least get some subbed Sentai on TV now Put that shit on something like Toonami or whatever but bringing that subbed would bring a diff product tho you would def lose the kid fan base |

Interesting timing: New York Toy Fair starts tomorrow, so I immediately wonder if there's a new deal in place waiting to be announced...... or, perhaps they're announcing this split now in the hopes of garnering attention from folks at NYTF.

If you're a Rangers fan and an action figure fan, Hasbro getting the license is the best news possible. Very exciting and a lot to process. One thing I do think will happen, there will finally be some villains produced in action figure form. A 6 inch scale Lord Zedd and Goldar.

Coming soon Power Rangers/Transformers crossover Considering they just announced they're rebooting the Transformers movies universe, and Hasbro has long been trying to do a Hasbro crossover universe, this might not be that farfetched. |
