Honestly it's nice to see people actually debating the stars of DBZ, unlike those marks who watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Seriously, the way they talk about it, you'd think every match was 5 stars.

I know it's easy to complain about Goku but at least he sometimes made his opponents looks good. That Pikachu guy though? Always goes over and never let's any mon near his spot. Porygon can attest to that. And let's not even get started on Batman...

I know it's easy to complain about Goku but at least he sometimes made his opponents looks good. That Pikachu guy though? Always goes over and never let's any mon near his spot. This is totally unfair on Pikachu. At the height of his overness, when Pokemania was running wild everywhere, Pikachu jobbed clean to f***ing Bellsprout. If that's not giving another talent a shot I don't know what is, it's not Pikachu's fault that Bellsprout switched up his gimmick to Victreebel and became a comedy jobber. yeah, i'm gonna have to call tauros-shit on that one. sure he does the job once in a while, but usually he comes back and wins the rematch. and how many times have we seen this happen: Pikachu on the ropes about to go down, only to tag out to someone expendable to take the fall (we gotta protect Pikachu). not to mention the reverse, when the other pokemon would wear the opponent down only for Pikachu to go "yeah, i got this" and come in at the last moment to deliver his finisher and get the victory. now i know what you're thinking. "well, he's the most over and they're just trying to give the fans what they want and send them home happy." well the fans only like Pikachu because he's the one that's been forced on them. they might like some of the others if they were give a chance to shine. but oh no, we gotta sooth Pikachu's ego cause he's the star. god forgive another pokemon for trying to get over, cause if they do they're either sent down to developmental with Professor Oak or outright released. and that's just for his partners, what about his opponents. out of the hundreds of times they've face off, how many times has Meowth or Arbok or Weezing gone over on Pikachu? i mean talk about a one-sided feud. its no coincidence that Pikachu wears yellow and red.

Meowth's the best promo on the roster, he doesn't need wins to get over. Arbok and Weezing were only ever jobbers, they were never gonna be the next big thing. Pikachu going over Onix was kinda screwy, but he didn't exactly go over clean. I'll grant you that him no-selling Raichu's finish was pretty uncool though, but the thing is, Pikachu was never meant to get over- it was supposed to be Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle who was the star, but Pikachu was the one the fans took to. He was naturally over, and who else you gonna push? Charizard? That guy had a terrible attitude.

With the money he makes he should be hooked up with an Alolan Persian by now!

Y'know *coughs* Goku...yeah, Goku was and is a draw. He's a great worker as well, y'know. His-his ability to draw them in is second to, in my opinion, *coughs* Ric Flair. And there's a thought: Goku under Dusty's booking.... Id day there were plenty of Dusty finishes and Russo swerves

Also, are we going to just ignore the roster wide senzu addiction that keeps getting swept under the rug? Akira Toriyama was so close to jail. But when Goku went up to testify, he said Toriyama didnt supply the senzu beans or made anyone take them (such a frikkin lie).

Tori-sensei didn't supply them, that part is true.... but you tell a federal court that there's a talking cat and a fat samurai who live in a tower on Native American soil and see how far you get!

Mr. Popo is the only one who served any time for the senzu bean scandal even though Korin was the major supplier and distributer.

Y'all think Goku's the politician? Vegeta's been playing politics since he first showed up. Dude was originally meant to job to Goku and disappear, after all. You don't go from one-note jobber to a consistent presence on the shows with a hot valet without some help.

Say what you will about Gainax, but at least when {Spoiler}Kamina helped the team snap back to reality, he didn't take the torch back from Simon.

Real talk: Goku is an awesome character, seriously. I think I prefer him over some of the more popular characters like Vegeta and Trunks.

Lets not even get started with the nepotism, seriously let someone else but a Joestar be a main eventer!

Gokus like Cena. The guy who just goes along with what the company wants. Not politicking but probably not raising a fuss even when other guys should go over but the company wants him because they're short sighted and think inside the box too much.

You don't go from one-note jobber to a consistent presence on the shows with a hot valet without some help. They really did a lot to try bill Vegeta as a bigger guy than he was too. You look at his debut, textbook vanilla midget, then he shows up jacked as hell with what, 3 inch lifts in his boots? Who did they think they were fooling? Rumour I heard was he had legit heat with Nappa, which is why they split their tag team up despite being over and Nappa was buried and released. Another question I have is- what about Raditz? He gets a big debut, he's part of the Saiyan stable, he's even shoot related to Goku and fights him to a draw, but they never do anything with him again, not even the face turn and team with Goku, then after he's gone he's buried by that whole Saibamen gimmick. Was he really that limited, or just unpopular with the writing team?

I heard raditz turned up wasted for the first day and didn't sober up for a week, that's why he got jobbed out and quietly ate a budget cutter outta no where tm and never gets brought up, he has no chance of ever making the hall of fame.
