That partisan dude is someone I muted on Twitter a long time ago. No matter what account is tweeting DC movie stuff, dude is there full on Snyder cult. It's weird.

I like how he says WW84 was terrible because Geoff Johns was involved, conveniently forgetting Johns was executive producer on BvS. It's Kathleen Kennedy syndrome all over again. "This movie sucks because X was involved." "What about that movie you like so much? They were involved in that, too." "They didn't really have any input on that one, though." It's also the chance to single someone out as "the villain who made my favorite series bad!" instead of acknowledging all the complicated factors that make films change for various reasons. They're all the happier if the person they can blame is a woman or part of a minority community (hence the desire to depict Kathleen Kennedy as Satan or something), but Johns serves their purposes well enough, too.

Is it a preview for Wonder Woman 94 with her in the Mike Deodato costume?

A lot of reviewers I know are at a screening of Wonder Woman 84, since it’s out in the UK and Ireland this week, so if you Americans are keen on hearing about it before Christmas Day...well, the embargo is up tomorrow.

Ok, so not going to deep into the subject but London is soon going to joining the rest of the UK in Level 3 of COVID restrictions on Wednesday with cinemas potentially closing because of it, some independent cinemas already saying they will be closed from that day
Wonder Woman 1984 comes out on Wednesday in the UK. Which would mean that it gets delayed, right? Of course not, reports are going around that they’ll still push forward with it.
Odeon, Cineworld and Vue are all shut until 2021 at earliest, many smaller cinemas are closed until restrictions are eased so...they’re going to open drive thrus I guess?

Manitoba is under full lockdown until at least Jan 12, and currently no streaming options here so I won’t get to see this movie until Blu Ray likely

Warner Bros are still adamant they’ll be screening Wonder Woman tomorrow in the UK.
Quick question, dudes...Where?! People are getting emails their screenings for the weekend are cancelled. Many are closing from midnight tonight and not opening again this year most likely.
What are you expecting to happen in the next few hours that the Government isn’t privy to?

I can only speak for where I am (Exeter), but Vue are accepting bookings for tomorrow when they reopen. I'm tempted to go watch it, myself.

As I said in the SNL thread, I expect Wiig to do some kind of Wonder Woman skit this week when she hosts.
/Over-under on Gal Gadot surprise appearance?

To tide some of you until the 25th (or tomorrow if you’re in one of the two cinemas in the UK opening), the opening scene of Wonder Woman 1984.

Not gonna lie, I felt more excitement watching those three and a half minutes than I ever did watching any of Snyder's work.

It just reaffirms me wanting Jenkins to direct a prequel centered around the Amazons and Gods war against Ares.

Off topic but on topic, been watching the Carter series from time to time as I have the complete series on DVD.

That said... that golden spandex gear on the competing amazons looks cheap as hell.

This is only my opinion, but as somebody who rewatched the series a few years back, not good. The 40's episodes are fun in a cheesy way, but the 70's ones are very 70's. If you're into 70's-style storytelling then you might enjoy them. I'm not and I didn't.
