You don't see him around Disney World, he's not in Kingdom Hearts. They brought back DuckTales but not Goof Troop. So I pose this relevant and important question to you all, good folks of FAN, is Max Goof canon?  |

I mean, he was in "House of Mouse", so he's obviously not completely forgotten.
I think the advantage that the triplets have is the popularity of the Donald Duck/Scrooge comics internationally. More people worldwide know Huey, Dewey and Louie than Max.
Though honestly, in regards to your mention of Kingdom Hearts, I've been wanting him to appear as a squire at Disney Castle, since his dad is Captain of the Royal Guards. Now that 3D and Land of the Musketeers have shown that SquareEnix is willing to use non-theatrical movies as worlds, maybe he and PJ can get a nod in the future.

Max Goof actor stays silent-a)none of em can talk b)he's not sure either.
"f*** you Max Goof! You're not canon! Go away! This is the worst trip ever!"
"You've ruined my child's vacation and memory forever Max Goof. You non-canon bastard!"
Max Goof walks away dejected. The little kid's attitude toward Disney forever tainted by Max's ambiguous entry into the Disney canon.
In time, the child would grow up evil and twisted, and try to take over the world. If only we could've known back then, and could have kept him away from Max Goof and his potentially non-canon 90s ass.

I'd imagine Max Goof is like the eldest Osbourne child or Will Smith's child from "Just the Two of Us" who is neither Jaden nor Willa and just doesn't want the famous family spotlight anymore.
Yes, canon, but normal. Not estranged, just not for the bright lights.

If I recall right those were also often shorts where the protagonist technically wasn't Goofy, but a Goofy lookalike (sometimes drawn without Goofy's signature dropping ears). It's all a bit confusing. But yeah, in the late 80s/early 90s they built a miniature themed land in the Walt Disney World version of the Magic Kingdom called Mickey's Birthdayland, which became Mickey's Starland, which had a stage show that served to highlight the characters of the then-new Disney Afternoon block. That gave them a chance to make costumes for Tailspin-versions of Baloo and Louie, Rescue Ranger versions of Chip and Dale, along with Darkwing Duck, Max, and others. |

Yeah, there as that whole series of toons where it was a civilization of Goofys working out, commuting, and whatnot.
It was like Being John Malkovich, only way more Gawrsh and Hyucks involved.
