...Is it too late to have Miz/Bryan for Mania set up? It would be kind of awesome if somewhere down the line Miz was Universal Champ and Bryan went after him both for the stolen moves and the title. Bryan is a grand slam champ isn't he?

I'm just dreading hearing Michael Cole say "...and Daniel Bryan, who's comeback lasted only two months before losing that Retirement Match to THE BIG DOG on Monday Night Raw last week..."

Welp. I legit cried tonight watching this. I was banished from my sport of choice for a few years due to injury, and I've been fighting back to get back into it. This year, more specifically within this last month, I finally managed to do so, and even got a few golds to my name. And Bryan, my favorite wrestler, is back too? And his speech was so good. Like SO GOOD. And so relatable. Man, I cried like a baby. Not ashamed to admit that I cried like a baby so long as it's in an anonymous website. Definitely enough to pull me back into wrestling after a 2/3 year break

I gotta say that all the years of pointing at the WrestleMania sign finally paid off, because I nearly cried when Bryan said he didn’t know when he would wrestle again and people in the crowd started pointing at the sign. That f***ing sign and Bryan looking at it gave me so many feelings.

Amusingly, I just watched that clip on WWE’s YouTube page the day before this announcement.

Well. I mean. People chant yes all the time regardless of if Bryan's in the segment anyway. I just wonder why people think Vince specifically hates Bryan and wanted to steal his catchphrase. From all the stories during his build, Vince absolutely loved the guy from the Hell No team onward. Yea it's like people frequently ignore the fact Vince was out there crying after DB retirement speech and the fact Titus got in so much trouble was because he was f***ing with Vince in a vulnerable moment. Vince like his "scrappy" guys just as much as much as he likes his tough guys. Were they forced into putting DB in the main event of Mania, yes and no but they did it and I just can't imagine Vince walking around hating DB The narrative is Vince is responsible for everything bad in WWE and HHH is responsible for everything good. Nevermind that Vince, during Bryan's rise, supposedly said Bryan was his favourite but didn't think he was the most marketable/drawing guy (which smacks of someone getting in his ear). It's like how some people are so so overprotectively worried for Bryan's health that it doesn't matter how many of the top, top neurologists clear him they're still certain that he's one bump away from a wheelchair. That it doesn't matter how many times Bryan explains that the 'lesion' terminology in neuroscience literally just means something a little different, not a massive cut, and that his brain was healthy, it definitely actually means he's got a hole in his brain. Sometimes people can get wedded to their narratives and rather than accept contradictory evidence, it's everyone else that is still wrong.

So does everyone have to stop doing Yes! kicks now? Miz did them during the MMC tonight, so probably not.

So does everyone have to stop doing Yes! kicks now? Are you kidding, Miz is only gonna ramp up his usage Got to continue to build to hopefully SummerSlam, Miz vs Bryan. The event where their angle against each other ramped up, at 2010 when Bryan made his return and was the final member of Team WWE instead of Miz, and at 2016 where it was Miz vs Apollo which ultimately led to Miz's Talking Smack promo.

I personally don't think that, he will probably be fine but 1) given his desperation to work throughout this don't necessarily trust his telling 2) think when you have a family you put them first and the fact he had seizures before should mean he takes himself away from in ring competition for the benefit of his family. Throughout this he's conducted himself like a spoiled kid to my mind. I will add though that this is a personal thing, and it'd great seeing so many happy and excited for something in wwe. I felt good for Mania anyway so more people with enthusiasm is a big upside.

On a sidenote, WWE.com went to the trouble of moving Owens and Zayn's profiles to the alumni section. I love that they got through that fine detail every time this happens.
