And I got a question...who are Bryan's boys? By that I mean the guys he really hangout with. I know Cody and Ryback were given they were roading together but who else does he really hangout with? I don't mean guys that are like "he's a great wrestler and I wanna wrestle him because he's great" but his real people. Cesaro, Sheamus, Sami, KO, Miz, and Dolph are all guys he's good friends with outside of the ring.

If he's truly 100%, and cuts out the needless crap that helped put him on the shelf in the first place, then I am so hype for him coming back.

I do have to agree with those saying that things kind of smell fishy in terms of WWE's approach to this, but at the same time as a guy who gravitated toward Bryan Danielson as one of his absolute favorite wrestlers circa 2004, I'm beyond thrilled that the guy can get back to doing what he loves and what he's truly one of the best there's ever been at doing.
I'd still love to see him make the jump back to the international scene and appear in places like NJPW, Lucha Underground, and maybe an epic homecoming with ROH, but the guy gave me so much great wrestling art and entertainment back in the mid-00s and was one of the key reasons I got back into wrestling during that time, so deep down what I want most is for him to have satisfaction in his work, to stay healthy, and to get the accolades he's more than earned over the years.

He didn't outright say it, but they frequently tried to get the chant itself over with the absence of Bryan, and it tanked. Well. I mean. People chant yes all the time regardless of if Bryan's in the segment anyway. I just wonder why people think Vince specifically hates Bryan and wanted to steal his catchphrase. From all the stories during his build, Vince absolutely loved the guy from the Hell No team onward. Yea it's like people frequently ignore the fact Vince was out there crying after DB retirement speech and the fact Titus got in so much trouble was because he was f***ing with Vince in a vulnerable moment. Vince like his "scrappy" guys just as much as much as he likes his tough guys. Were they forced into putting DB in the main event of Mania, yes and no but they did it and I just can't imagine Vince walking around hating DB

If Talking Smack is anything to go by The Usos are also really close to Daniel

After tonight... I'm still wishing he wouldn't be in action. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Bryan, but I just freaked out at every bump he took during that beating, and no amount of clearance will change that outlook. Call me selfish, but I had hoped that itch would have been gone by now. Like anyone in sports coming off an injury, it's going to need to be a matter of gaining the trust back and staying healthy.

One factor to consider is the concussion lawsuit; it's not looking like it has much chance of succeeding whether WWE has him on television or not, and it's thus far been ignored by the world at large with every development it gets. They definitely don't want him showing up in ROH, but I also think the inherent worries that kept him shelves are gone, and he ran the gauntlet of looking at every specialist he could on top of then going and seeing specialists WWE's own doctors named. They wanted so badly to keep him on, and now they know he's not going to budge, so they've relented. It's fishy, but if it gives us Bryan back then I'm fine with it.

Not looking forward to everyone freaking out every time he bumps.
People with way more expertise than any of us said he's good. Let the man be and let those of us who wish to enjoy it.

Incredibly happy for Bryan, but damnit this means I won't get Bryan vs Okada.

My worry has always been that he will return and eventually the gradual wear down will get to him. I was fine with WWE taking him off as better safe than sorry measure instead of waiting until he showed visible signs of damage like a Foley for them to start caring I mean at this point it's up to DB to not be reckless and his opponents to not get overzealous as well. He will probably be checked on more than most but if he can continue a successful and healthy career than the precaution they showed early was worth it but I am in agreement there is something a lil fishy going on but f*** it everything is "back to normal" as far as DB wants it and WWE reaps the benefits once again

I'm no fan of his, sure, but most everyone here loves him so I can't complain too much. Sorry about the choice of words. But if it means the forum is back to being positive, that's a plus for all. This is me we're talking about. That choice of words was understandable.

There's always going to be worry just because of the "public knowledge" of this whole thing and DB admitting himself about lying about his concussions People freak out about everything including pushes of superstars and/or lack there of. I expect DB to have just as much coverage as someone like Roman who gets multiple threads a week. I would say just "roll with it" because that's just the way fans are and you should still be able to enjoy if you have enough faith in the doctors that you don't care what anyone else says.

The scrappy guys likely remind Vince of himself and I'm sure he respects guys who scratch and claw for what they want.

I would laugh if this entire thing was all about Bryan leveraging WWE to get him back in the ring but then he left anyway later this year when his contract is up. Let's be real here. A lot of us have been counting down the days until he could escape and then make a huge splash in NJPW and co-main event WK next year against Omega, Okada, whoever. The cynic in me thinks that is the primary reason WWE cleared him, just to keep him from potentially jumping to ROH/NJPW when his deal is up.

It's scary to watch him bump. I had flashbacks to how I felt during HBKs return match at SummerSlam. I'm hoping with time it becomes normal yet again.
