As glad as I am for him, I will concede that the timing does seem little weird in that it was 'no way' for two years to the point where a lot of us, myself included, though well he should be done.
And now it's just like: "Nope, he's fine."

What do three world-renown medical doctors have to gain by.....lying about the dude's brain? You tell me that, and then, fine, worry. But there's not a single thing they gain, and if it's outed, they lose everything. So....your conspiracy theory makes no sense. Can't I just tell people I'm not comfortable seeing him return to action? Sure. But you're going to have to deal with a bunch of people who want to be snide and dismissive.

I'll take the doctors word for it. Still, I admit I cringed when he did that German suplex and those two dropkicks.

There definitely seems to have to be something.
I'm not doubting the docs themselves; it's just a big switch from "can never wrestle again" to "no brain damage whatsoever" in a matter of days.

Cena the other day said on TMZ that Bryan of all people is healthier than most WWE superstars and the issue is making people understand that. The moment I heard that it really made me think.
God bless Bryan but we also need to get these others who aren't as healthy as Bryan checked immediately. If people are this worried about Bryan then ok, he's good to go now. Let's worry about these others. Sounds to me like they need doctors more than he does.

And now it's just like: "Nope, he's fine." Must mean the lawsuits are about to get dismissed. They were for all intents and purposes dismissed late last year. The Judge has given the attorney representing the wrestlers the chance to re-file the lawsuit with amended terms to reflect the fact that they had virtually no case, which was done. Of course, the fact that they were forced to concede they basically have no case does far more damage than WWE could ever do themselves.

(how it played out in my imagination)
Dr. Maroon: Vince, can I clear him yet? Vince: No.
6 Months later.
Dr. Maroon: Vince, can I clear him yet? Vince: No.
6 months later.
Dr. Maroon: Vince, can I clear him yet? Vince: No.
6 months later.
Dr. Maroon: Vince I'm under intense pressure from others in my field, can I clear him yet? Vince: No...wait pal....when does his contract expire pal? *looks it up* Oh goddam pal we can't have him leaving and wrestle for the first time somewhere else pal. Dr. Maroon: So I can clear him then? Vince: One second pal.
(Vince yelling)
Vince: how about we conveniently reinstate him and give him the honor of having him being sandbagged with Shane who is the best wrestler ever, pal?
(Vince to himself)
Vince: That sounds great pal.
(Vince to Dr. Maroon)
Vince: Go ahead and clear him pal.
Dr. Maroon: f***ing finally, now I can get Cantu off of my back.

Good Lord All Mighty, how must Bryan feel about this? Probably looking forward to Tuesday. And for the first time in quite a while, many WWE fans are doing that.

After reading the thread title at least I know why there's a Tardis at the head of the ramp. He's no "Bone's Mcoy" but at least he's a Dr.

There definitely seems to have to be something. I'm not doubting the docs themselves; it's just a big switch from "can never wrestle again" to "no brain damage whatsoever" in a matter of days. Probably the Jodie Whittaker regeneration that changed things - Peter Capaldi was likely just being too cautious assessing Bryan.

I'm convinced if we saw the same stringent tests that Byran has gone through applied to the rest of the roster we'd be seeing plenty of forced retirements.

I have no reason to doubt the doctors findings, but then was he not as serious before and they were just being cautious cuz of the lawsuits? Just seems off.
