Do you think Ted DiBiase's former Man servant Virgil will ever be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame?
Surely if Hillbilly Jim can be then Virgil can too???

There might be someone in the board room who mentions his name as the low card candidate but management is probably worried he would go into business for himself at the ceremonies. When the inductees have to be humble on stage, who knows if he would put himself over every guy he wrestled with back in the day when mentioning names.

Virgil doesn't seem to be that kind of guy , does he have a reputation for shooting on former colleagues?

Nah, I suspect there's a policy of avoiding living inductees who may embarrass them after Sunny and others. Virgil seems the type who'd put his ring on eBay the night after the ceremony.

Pat Patterson should induct him and Virgil’s speech should just be him unleashing his hose on the podium.

Virgil might be the most pathetic figure without any redeeming qualities who never drew a nickel in the history of wrestling.
Let's be serious, his career is just an inside joke towards Dusty and McMahon. The guy is worthless.

Pat Patterson should induct him and Virgil’s speech should just be him unleashing his hose on the podium. Before him I would induct Rob Fuller and 2 Cold Scorpio. Seth Rollins and Precious Paul Ellering would enter the room and everyone would laugh at them.

Guy was a decoration on the every main stage for over 15 years playing with the big boys.

Hillbilly Jim was pretty damned over.
With Virgil, eh maybe? As with any induction, depends on if he's on good terms with em a the time.

Most indies wrestlers would love to be on TV and PPV and most of all had runs in the top two wrestling companies in wrestling history. With the chance to make money. Now how he invested his money which he didn't is a different topic but getting the chance he got, YES most indies would take that.

When he FINALLY got fed up with Ted Dibiase and stood up for himself in a match against the Million DOllar Man (With the help of Roddy Piper) that angle got a pretty good crowd reaction. His heat cooled off pretty quickly afterwards, but he still had at least that one moment in the sun.

Virgil is the wrong guy who was at the right place at the right time. Any other wrestler could have been swapped into his roles in angles, and it would have made very little difference.

I don't think Virgil was that bad a performer, he showed decent charisma in his WCW days and was part of a big angle in the early 90s. The problem is the person seems to be a bit of a bad joke, which I a shame as he seemed to ge a Tito Santana type for a while, a guy who made his money as a midcarder then moved on, taking a teaching job. I wonder where it all went wrong for him.

It's a case of the DiBiase character being such an unforgivable bastard that whoever he feuded with would get over. There's a current version of that: The Miz
