FWIW Momoa has been nothing but glowing about Snyder.

If Snyder had anything close to a functional brain he would stay away from the internet on the same week that a f***** CW show did a better job with Superman in an hour(+/-) than he did on 3 movies

FWIW Momoa has been nothing but glowing about Snyder. Not like Momoa's gonna go out and bury him and DC's movies on a press tour for a DC movie. They are friends, after all.

Shockingly, not from Zack this time.
(Beginning 32:45.)
For those who don't want to watch, Kevin spoke to people who worked on Justice League and saw the plans for the Justice League trilogy, and it went as follows:
Part 1 - happens more or less the same, but with the addition of Green Lantern, and after Steppenwolf retreats the JL have a brief confrontation with Darkseid.
Part 2 - the JL and the Green Lantern Corps go to Apokalyps, get their asses handed to them.
Part 3 - Darkseid comes to Earth, wipes out pretty much everything, and the movie plays out in the same post-apocalyptic setting as the Knightmare sequence in BVS.
Marc sums it up perfectly as sounding "bleak as f***" and being "metal in a world that wants pop."

For as dark as Infinity War was, we at least got Captain Marvel being hyped to save the world

So how would the third movie have ended? A time reset? Or would all DCEU movies taking place after this take place in a recovering post-apocalyptic wasteland? That isn't really the setting I'd want to be stuck with if I was making a Shazam or Blue Beetle movie.

The third movie was apparently supposed to end with Batman killing himself in a suicide bombing to help finally stop Darkseid, so there would've had to be some sort of reset/reboot by design to allow for a new Batman.

Even if I thought the idea sounded even halfway decent... I have absolutely no doubt that Snyder would have completely failed in the execution.
Because he's Zack Snyder and can't even figure out how to make ONE movie that isn't like 5 hours long full of plotholes and still needs like 10 more hours of explanation to work.

I've said before, but Snyder really should just work in TV. The format is ideally suited to the way he tells stories, he would have all the time he needs to fit everything in, and with HBO, Netflix, and Amazon spending as much on production values for single seasons as most blockbusters it's not as if he would have to sacrifice any of his stylistic choices either.

Much like Russo, there are good idea kernels in there. I just deeply doubt the overall execution and success.

Whoever hired Snyder and let him run this franchise into the ground with his horrible edgelord crap should be publicly shamed.
He should never have been given anything in the main DC Universe and it's an embarrassment to DC and to cinema that he did as much intentional vandalism to the best comic book superhero universe as he did.

I think if the WB branch had a competent executive with a vision that most likely could've reigned Zack in, it wouldn't have become what it eventually transformed into. Zack in hindsight is a capable, talented, and creative individual with a great eye for visuals. Storytelling isn't his strong suit unfortunately and it would've made more sense if he was working with Geoff Johns from the beginning.
