About Momoa...he seems like a chill guy who wouldn't strongly dislike someone. So there's that.

Whoever hired Snyder and let him run this franchise into the ground with his horrible edgelord crap should be publicly shamed. He should never have been given anything in the main DC Universe and it's an embarrassment to DC and to cinema that he did as much intentional vandalism to the best comic book superhero universe as he did. I think if the WB branch had a competent executive with a vision that most likely could've reigned Zack in, it wouldn't have become what it eventually transformed into. Zack in hindsight is a capable, talented, and creative individual with a great eye for visuals. Storytelling isn't his strong suit unfortunately and it would've made more sense if he was working with Geoff Johns from the beginning. "Storytelling isn't his strong suit." Then he's incapable creating a franchise and, as I said, whoever allowed him to weasel himself and his hack wife into the positions they were in should be publicly shamed every single time a superhero movie makes more than Batman V. Superman. Batman V. Superman is vandalism.

Snyder's only ever made one original movie in his entire career. Everything else has either been a remake or an adaptation of existing stories, and he's proven himself to be largely incapable of even doing that right, because his failings as a storyteller result in making unnecessary changes that usually go directly against the core principles of the original story. He does have an eye for visuals, even if they're usually desaturated within an inch of their lives, so if he had a co-director who could handle story side of things I think he could be involved in a great movie at some point.

I wish DC would launch yet another continuity rewriting event, just so they can rewrite Zack Snyder and his involvement with DC out of the timeline for good.

I wish DC would launch yet another continuity rewriting event, just so they can rewrite Zack Snyder and his involvement with DC out of the timeline for good. Well the supposed note going forward is... "pretend Man Of Steel --> Justice League didn't happen minus Wonder Woman." It's why Suicide Squad 2 is being treated as a REBOOT instead of a continuation, why Aquaman had almost no references to Jusice League... why Wonder Woman 2 ignores the point that she disappeared until BVS, etc. Basically they aren't even giving him the dignity of a crisis to fix it.

Yeah, from what I’ve read MoS-JL still exists in the movie continuity, they’re just quietly moving away from referencing it until they figure out a game plan. Sidenote, Zack Snyder would be one helluva cinematographer. Dude’s got a fantastic eye for visuals, but directing just isn’t his forte.

For me personally I loved 300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead, Man of Steel, and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. I haven't seen Sucker Punch but his other films I have enjoyed. Despite its flaws I found Batman vs. Superman and Justice League to be entertaining. I can admit there were a multitude of misfires on his end and from the WB as a collective unit. I've always said that I get what Snyder was attempting to do with the characters by doing something different. Unfortunately it backfired on him and them in the worst way with polarizing reviews and divisive mindset amongst fans. I can't say that I hate him honestly as I've always believed he had good intentions. There just wasn't anyone there to tell him "No, that's not going to work. No that's not the character. No that's a stupid idea."

I don't believe he set out with the mindset of creating something polarizing amongst the general audience and fans. He's not a Uwe Boll, Pitof, or Mark Steven Johnson who knowingly create trash and find ways to insult the fanbase with their product. I'd take Snyder over someone like them or Michael Bay anytime and I love Michael Bay's work too.

Zack's at it again, and this time it's a doozy!
From a Q&A session:
On Batman killing people:
On "Save Martha":
The pre-Joss Whedon Justice League and it's sequel:

Shazam puts the lie to Snyder's whole thing here about heroes. It couldn't be more family friendly while also dealing with some weighty, heart-felt issues.
When you guys see it, you'll see what I mean. I'll be amazed if it doesn't do gangbusters.

The pre-Joss Whedon Justice League and it's sequel: so his plan for the sequel was to kill Superman? again? then bring him back to life again? was he supposed to be the Kenny McCormick of the Synder-verse or something? "It's genius bro, they'll never see it coming!"

Even Zack acknowledges it doesn't exist, then. Time for some chuds to move the hell on.
