I'm now of the mindset that Snyder is just having his people do research about different aspects of the Batman universe and is now just posting stuff about the"connections" to BvS to his terrible social media project to get traffic there, and possibly to get people clamoring for him to get another undeserved shot at a follow up movie.

What's baffling to me is that its not just that Snyder and Goyer feel like people who have barely read Batman, it seems like they've never even seen an actual adaptation (barring Nolan's stuff maybe) of the character before either.
The original DCAU, the Burton Duology, and the Arkham games all have different tones, aesthetics, and variations of the Dark Knight. They're relatively dark in points, but each one at least pulled off creating a world that made some sense and possessed a subtext wasn't a god damned mess. All of them especially the animated series are such a great blueprint on how to pull off a Batman setting that isn't warm but isn't alienating either.
With Synder's stuff, even worse than the confusing nature of what the DC film universe wants itself to be is how tedious it all ends up being. They're needlessly depressing and the final product is just plain boring. For all of Snyder's efforts at supposedly deep meaning and dark character exploration, you never get a hint of most of it because its beating you over the head with either shallow symbolism or in your face grim imagery.
The scene of Bruce sitting at Wayne Manor alone waiting for the signal to come on in Batman Returns has more depth to it and suggests a far somber and interesting characterization than any superhero moment Snyder's attempted.

I thought about going Picard, but there's really only one man's facial response I trust for this.

Go away Scott Snyder.
You took a big shit all over my favorite comic universe and I will never forgive you or your idiot wife.
Go deconstruct a puzzle and leave me the f*** alone.

Again if he peppered in more "bro's", maybe he'd have a chance.

Zack, don't you have another terrible movie you should be working on, instead of trying to convince people your terrible and stupid movie was some misunderstood bit of genius?

Also even if "THE REAL DOOMSDAY" is out there... so?
You already had a thing that looked like Doomsday on screen.
and you already blew through Doomsday's one notable story arc.
So you already poisoned that well.

Yeah, Doomsday has always been more plot device than character. If he's not involved in tha plot, or they're not able to call back to it who the hell cares?

You know, he could have pointed out that Doomsday always comes back to life with the added bonus of being immune to whatever killed him before, but that would have been the smart thing to do, so...

Pretty much, that's sort of his whole deal post that story--he's frightening cuz he killed Supes. If the 'real' one didn't even do that? His first appearance post Death was interesting in that you found out he was an experiment performed on ancient Krypton; but they sorta did that in BvS.

That's the biggest problem with this particular revelation. It's not like Marvel's "the real Mandarin is still out there" asspull; I mean, yellow peril implications aside, the rings were always an interesting angle to explore. Doomsday exists for exactly one reason: The Death of Superman. You only get one shot at a story like that, and they blew it.
