Yeah I think Dawn is his second best movie though like Watchmen, he completely missed the point of the original and kind of just turned it into a over the top (but still fun) zombie movie. Hell I wonder how much credit should really go to Gunn really. The first draft of the screenplay available online if you want to read it. Snyder didn't come on board until the second or third draft. Interesting, I will have to give it a read. Thanks for the link.

Dawn of the Dead is fine. It has some real stupidity but it’s done fun so that’s fine. The biggest problem is that it’s the one time Snyder did a needle drop that worked (the Down with the Sickness cover) and everyone told him how great it was and now he can’t f***ing stop and it never works. I mean…compared to the original Dawn it’s shit…but compared to the era of horror it’s fine.

So, instead of acknowledging he made a mistake and offering James Gunn an apology, Fisher instead plugs Rebel Moon and hopes we all forget the last 24 hours.
A>E indeed.

Ray Fisher is an untalented, whiny sack of crap.

The whole "I have a thick skin" and "I WILL ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOU" lines ring hollow when he declined the Shazam 2 cameo, tried to cook the books to make Black Adam's financials look better, and unfollowed DC's socials
Dude's trying to save a ton of face because his passion project both failed and then James Gunn nixed any future of it.

A>E indeed You didn't read the fine print. "Accountability > Entertainment except when it comes to holding myself or people I like accountable for bad things, then it flies out the window."

Accountability > Entertainment except Ray Fisher's never been in anything entertaining so it's fine.

Him sliding that "and Marvel" in didn't go unnoticed, either. I have no doubt his people have been in contact with Feige's people since he glanced at the writing on the wall.

I haven't had any respect for Fisher since he tried to champion Black people behind a cause and just throwing racism out there cause he didn't get attention
As a black man you can't cry wolf and you being a whole clown at that. You invoked Emmit Till in your BS. You talked about wanting to be a symbol when all you did was self satisfy your own shit to smell

I am sure Kevin would love to have Rock on board. Rock could have made a great Wonder Man. But would Rock fit in at Marvel. I doubt they would go for his stips.

Yeah, with Marvel for better or worse Feige basically tells you to play ball with us or take yours and go home He can fit in a role but it is going to be on their time

I feel like the Rock would get a script and tell them to cut out the whole beginning and middle part where his hero is vulnerable and has to overcome various physical and emotional challenges and that would be the end of the relationship.
…
Maybe after a couple more bombs.

Motherf***er, a goddamn judge was brought in at Fisher's behest, interviewed 300+ people including everybody who was on set, billed Warner Bros. for 2,000 hours, had Fisher singing her praises on his own Twitter feed, concluded that Whedon overstepped the boundaries of acceptable behaviour, and cleared everybody else of any wrongdoing. The guy cannot vouch for the integrity and credibility of an investigation and then cry foul because it concluded there was evidence that contradicted 90% of his accusations.

I was under the impression the judge also concluded that Whedon was more just an ass in general and wasn't a racially motivated one... but the point remains the same... He got angry when basically every investigation keeps coming up with Yeah Whedon's a shithead but that's where the line stops.

Whedon was being an asshole and what was inferred was Fisher tried to make more of it than it was. I think he got yelled at or something and tried to have that up but the Judge said nah

He got angry when basically every investigation keeps coming up with Yeah Whedon's a shithead but that's where the line stops. Whedon was verbally abusive to several cast and crew members and did threaten to ruin Gal Gadot's career. Fisher's claims of racism were: 1) he was asked to play Cyborg like Quasimodo 2) he was the only actor asked to say their character's catchphrase 3) all POC characters were cut or had their roles heavily reduced by Whedon 4) his skin was artificially lightened on Whedon's orders to appear less black The investigation concluded that: 1) the character of Cyborg was written to have a loathing of what he has physically become and wishes to hide himself away from the world, much like Quasimodo, and was in keeping with several comic book stories 2) Henry Cavill performed a variation of Superman's "truth, justice, and the American way" catchphrase 3) Almost all POC characters cut had minor roles that were unrelated or irrelevant to the central plot 4) In no scenes is Fisher's skin tone noticeably lighter With the release of the Snyder Cut, the last two points exposed just how full of shit Fisher's claims were. With the exception of Cyborg and his mother, all the POC characters cut from the theatrical version have about five minutes of screen time (in a four hour movie) and are background characters at best, and any lightening of Fisher's skin is down to the aggressive lightening of entire scenes due to Snyder filming everything with overcast lighting.

Having hot dogs pushed away from your face is central to all plots >_>
