Nothing says organic demand than the same few thousand accounts spamming hashtags over and over on a prearranged date. Doesn't help that the "prearranged date" happens to be Valentine's Day. Them replies are gonna be nasty, and the quote retweets won't be much better.

It'll actually be the third time they've used that date, having previously used it for #ReleaseTheSnyderCut and #RestoreTheSnyderverse viral campaigns. The Snyder Cut was originally 214 minutes long, y'see, so they have "officially claimed" February 14th as Zack Snyder Day.

not like bots have anything better to do. No word of a lie, I had one of those idiots tell me that the whole bot thing was just a fabrication from a WB hit piece, and the growth of the number of Snyder-related trending events after Elon Musk purged all bots from Twitter is proof of that.

Ironically he paid for Twitter with nearly the same amount of $ he likely didn't pay HBO when he pirated Justice League.

They can't seriously think that WBD will sell/loan the rights to Justice League, or any DC live-action movie properties, to another studio? Netflix might have some of the TV shows but that's a completely different deal. It's more likely that WB would do the movies themselves and we all know that has a zero chance of happening.
If this really was about finishing the story and not just blowing smoke up Snyder's ass, they'd do a lot better campaigning for JL2 and JL3 to happen as animated movies, novelizations, or comics. Much smaller budgets and for comics at least, DC has a history of doing tie-ins and continuing the stories of live-action or games. But, their aggressiveness has probably killed any chances of that, too.

I keep thinking: of all the movies/books/shows/entertainment that people want to see sequels/remakes/whatever from, it's this goddamn shit sandwich that has such a loud following?
It's bizzare

It's bizzare He's one of only a handful of high profile creators in the comic/comicbook movie industry to court the worst people in the fandom so much like Ethan van Smeghead before him, senpai Snyder and his mediocre work has their undying love by noticing them and not being 'woke'. There aren't many out there who want to see more of his work, but they sure are loud and aggressive, and have their volume boosted by bot accounts on social media.

I dunno, I'd just love to see the writers of Blood Origin and the showrunner behind The Witcher do with the Snyderverse...

Ok, I’m going to step in here and say to people to knock it off with wide branching assumptions of people who like the Snyderverse and don’t. We’ve been getting reports from people about it and honestly, none of this shit is worth it on either end.
Now back to ignoring this thing still exists somehow.

Reports are kinda goofy given that what people are poking at is the dopes that are completely delusional, not just anyone who likes those movies
There's a clear demarcation point between: person who likes those films&chowderhead who thinks it can be sold to Netflix.

All the shit talking in the thread had been about the people who shit post on Twitter or say horrible things Pretty sure people have said they liked the movie in the thread multiple times. This shit nearly 5 years old

There's a huge difference between just being a fan of the movies and being part of the Cult that spams hashtags, harasses people, and tries to get people fired for no real reason. Like if it gets to the point where your entire online existence revolves around restoring a universe of movies to the point of unintentionally, actively sabotaging any chance of it actually happening, take a step back and examine where your life went wrong.

Like if it gets to the entire point where your entire online existence revolves around restoring a universe of movies to the point of unintentionally, actively sabotaging any chance of it actually happening, take a step back and examine where your life went wrong. And ignoring the wishes of one of the principle actors to never play the character in earnest again. No matter how many times Ben Affleck says he's not going to make another movie as Batman, specifically because he fears the pressures of leading a huge tentpole movie will cause him to – and I quote – "drink myself to death", they keep acting like he's just waiting for Snyder to pick up the phone and go back to work. There's people who like Snyder's movies, and there's people who demand a series of movies despite knowing that one of the stars believes it will literally kill him. I think I can safely speak for everybody on this board when I say nobody has any quarrel with the former and think the latter deserve all the shit talk they get.

I’d just like to combine all of our monster Mega Threads into one big idea.
Let’s let Zack Snyder direct the Vince McMahon biopic.
It’s 100% mandatory that “Excellent question Shelton” be included and Shelton Benjamin be played by Ray Fisher.

It’s 100% mandatory that “Excellent question Shelton” be included and Shelton Benjamin be played by Ray Fisher. Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill would work out their disagreements on set by having push-up competitions. I would genuinely pay good money not only for Snyder to direct a McMahon biopic, but also watch a full-length behind-the-scenes documentary, because you know Vince wouldn't be able to keep himself from getting involved.
