Not getting why people would be so pissed off with Nakamura not winning. Because he has had 4 title shots, and in all four he has failed. If he fails again, that is 5 failed WWE title shots in a year. No matter how many times the dude destroys AJ's wedding tackle, if he can't get the job done when it counts, then nobody is going to take him seriously as a threat.

Roman has been pushed far more than Nakamura and the difference between the two is that Roman actually wins feuds. Roman's won numerous feuds, won numerous titles and Roman's always in the main event. Even though Roman loses world title matches, he can always come back and win a feud or a midcard title, he was a champion less than 4 months ago. Nakamura has lost numerous feuds, has zero titles and he's being talked about by some people as being ok with him getting a midcard title utilizing cheating. That's not comparable. The reality is people like AJ's boring run and they want him to keep holding the title even if it costs Nakamura even though if Nakamura won then AJ would be fine because he's cemented. Nakamura needs this more than AJ does.

Not to mention that Roman's W/L this year is appalling. Meanwhile, Nakamura’s record this year is fairly respectable (9-2-2).

Wins and losses do not matter in professional wrestling anymore. The reality is that Nakamura could lose 50 title shots, win one match and be back at no.1 contender.

Wins and losses do not matter in professional wrestling anymore. The reality is that Nakamura could lose 50 title shots, win one match and be back at no.1 contender. Wins and losses matter. A dude that constantly chokes when the chips are down is going to lose support, interest and heat, because the fans have been shown that he cannot get the job done. Dolph Ziggler has choked so many times, he's heatless at this point. Daniel Bryan was at his hottest when he was shown as a legit main eventer - winning matches while overcoming interference, beating Orton, Batista and Trips in one night and getting the job done. And while he was getting huge reactions in the summer of 2013, he wasn't moving the needle all that well at the time, partly because of him losing in 18 seconds at 'mania the previous year and failing against CM Punk three times that year too. Ryback was hot in late 2012 because he was destroying dudes in the ring. But failing to beat Punk in the Cell then going on that PPV losing streak killed off a lot of his heat. Dean Ambrose, after failing to get a decisive victory against Rollins in 2014 then jobbing to a Boob Tube at TLC, had little pull house show wise in early 2015. And after a heatless feud with Randy Orton and getting jobbed out for a few months, Sheamus 2:15 killed the ratings. So f*** "Wins and Losses Don't Matter", because that line spouted by Road Dogg is a massive pile of crap and he knows it.

Wins and losses don't matter. You can lose a hundred matches in a year and be champion a few months later. With the advent of so many "win and you're in" title stips and the fact guys wrestle one another a dozen times a year its hard to care when someone beats someone else when there's absolutely no ramifications for losing.

Nakamura absolutely positively has to win tonight. Dude has been on another level since turning heel and deranged heel champ Nakamura is money.

Road Dogg: "See, clifford gets it!" Wow damn that's cold. I never said I agreed with that line of thinking. Just that that is the view held by the WWE nowadays. Seriously they proved last year that past performances matter not one bit when they made Jinder freaking Mahal their world champion.

So its just Ruby vs Bayley for the kickoff? I was confused for a second, then I remembered they're both on the same show now.

The big dawg standing tall to end the show sounds like hell, but that’s going to be the majority of 2018/2019 so I have to get used to it I guess
