Honestly I don't think these guys are on Vince's radar.
But Trips will be well clued in so yes, I expect them to run something that weekend.

I doubt they'll do anything. It's a one off thing.
They're probably just shrugging and saying they'll sign like half the guys on the undercard by the end of the year anyway.

It's just a one of event. It's not like a new company are crushing them in the ratings and stealing their talent. I don't think it hurts WWE at all.

I’m not saying Vince is paranoid about this but WWE is the company to set up Starrcade last year to counter program WrestleCon in the same city and state with no real dissernable reason except they could to potentially get some of those talents to choose one or another or in some cases go to both. Also the same company to immidiantly start work on a stadium show in Australia the very moment the New Japan roster’s flight to Tokyo left the runway.
I’m not even saying they were going to host a massive show but the fact that there wasn’t anything to counter before tickets were going on sale strikes me as odd. And if I were a business, even as a one off, I’d at least want to have one eye on a show that can sell 10,000 tickets in 30 minutes without a WWE logo slapped on it. Not even any fear, just something I’d keep a bigger eye on.

Well they might, but there wouldn't really be much point after it's sold out. Can't see even the WWE thinking that people who have already purchased tickets will give them up to watch a house show.

Why is counter programming being used as a negative, here? The Royal Rumble only exists because of counter programming, and that’s one of my favorite events of the year. I believe Clash Of The Champions was counter programming, as well. Cause stuff like that can easily put people out of business.

Nah, mainly because Vince knows that Cody is a chump and he has about 3 or 4 better tag teams on the roster than the Bucks.

They'll probably schedule an NXT show nearby or something. I seriously doubt Cody and his friends are going to sell out a 10,000 seat arena unless they pull Cm Punk out of their arse. It's already sold out.

I do not think Vince McMahon is a dumb enough businessman to counter program "All In" after the show has already sold out.
Having said that, however, Vince McMahon has proven to be a small, petty man, and that there's many times Vince seems to spite the fans for wanting something that he didn't.
Because of that- everyone here is playing checkers when Vince McMahon is playing speed 4D Chess against four players at once.
As a result:
I have no doubt WWE planned to counter program All In, but couldn't announce it until after MITB/Takeover Chicago due to the way WWE runs their shows (and All In selling out THAT FAST took everyone by surprise.)
If that's the case, I also have no doubt that, now that All In sold out and counterprogramming it is a moot point, what Vince McMahon would do is take something that the fans have said they longed for and do that at the show they planned for to counter program All In, solely so that when it fails miserably at the gate due to All In's sellout, Vince can say "Well, we tried it, it failed. It's not our fault- you just didn't want it badly enough."
My gut's telling me: Yes, Vince McMahon will counter program the sold out All In show...but he'll counterprogram it with the all-women's Network special that the fans have been longing for, and when All In inevitably destroys it, Vince can say "Nope, we tried giving you an all-women's Network special, and you didn't support it. Back to the kiddie pool filled with pudding for the women!"

I'm genuinely shocked the day after the venue announcement, WWE didn't just put a house show on that day nearby and called it Fall Brawl or something of that nature. Considering that right after New Japan finished its dates in Australia, WWE announced that mega event for later this year, it feels like a bizarre oversight on their part. Even if they did counter-program it, there's no point now. The show's a sellout. They'd just look really silly. Absolutely nobody would buy tickets to a house show in Chicago on that day when they are already running the market in 5 weeks with Takeover and MITB. It would flop horribly, and would be seen as the petty move it would be.

Can't see them doing anything in Chicago so soon after MITB. Maybe they do something on WWE Network but even then, it'll be On there to catch up with later.

No. the WWE at this point see themselves above everything else in wrestling and wouldn't lower themselves to counterprogramming against a one off show. If they repeat the sellout with their second or third show, or talk of starting their own promotion, then the WWE will act.

They're petty enough to do it, but I'm not sure they could whip up a live show in a relatively short amount of time.
Might get some on-screen line about the "IWC" or something because hey, those crazy Internet fans.

I doubt they care much. It's not like All In's going to make much, if any money. I doubt the people traveling are going to want to spend a ton on WWE after spending a lot on plane tickets for literally one show.

Lemme get this straight... Yall think that Vince isn't gonna use Lesnar to beat Punk's title length and yet yall think he's still petty enough to counter All In?

The whole damn Punk butthurt needs to die already. The idea that nobody can ever have a longer title reign (even with a different title) than him from now on is bullshit.
