She has been stripped of the Sendai Girls World Championship and fired from WAVE.

She was supposed to defend the Sendai Girls Championship against Dash Chisako, but she pulled out and sent back the belt to Meiko Satomura. The initial report was that it was a health scare. There was obviously mote to it. Now we know she was arrested and her contract with Wave was terminated. Looks bad for her.

It'll be interesting to know what "stimulant" it is, since this is Japan and they have strict drug laws.
I just hope at a certain point, she gets better and gets help if she wants it.

That really sucks. I've always enjoyed their work. If she's got drug issues, I hope she can get it sorted out.
I only just now found out she was related to Gran Hamada. I somehow was completely unaware of that.

Putting her over Hashimoto was so dumb.

She's a legend and one of the best females of the post-peak era of the mid 90's. Hope the matter is sorted soon.

It’s hard to judge the situation without knowing what “stimulant” is involved. If it’s something silly that happens to be outlawed because of the strict laws over there, then I’ll feel bad for her. If she was doing something that’s obviously illegal, then she should’ve known better and I hope she gets any help that she needs.

Well that kills her chances of ever being employed again.

I never really understood her push in TNA.
I didn’t realize she was half Hispanic. She has an interesting look to her.
Japan seems to really hate drugs. That’s okay, I do, too.

This is the kind of event that could really hamper her potential employment with pretty much any reputable wrestling company.
Meaning that I expect TNA to being calling her within the next week at least.

I'm sure she'll pop up in AAA again, and maybe Lucha Underground.

Well that kills her chances of ever being employed again. In Japan. :/ Even Arashi and Tadao Yasuda still got work in micro-indies and the occasional bigger show from seedier promoters. She'll find work. Also, if GAMI is still the one booking WAVE, she might get a shot at redemption in the company, as GAMI pretty much forgives everyone if they show her they've changed.

She should go to Seadlinnng, because apparently there you can just break a woman's face for literally no reason and they'll still employ you.

SEAdLINNNG is far from the only promotion that books Yoshiko. Yoshiko is the Oz Academy Champion right now. She has also worked shows for DDT, WAVE, Zero1 this year. She's very good. I would have understood if she was blackballed for assaulting and effectively ending Act Yasukawa's career. It's the worst thing you can do as a wrestler. But she wasn't. I don't know if it's true, but I've read that Yasukawa and Yoshiko have made peace.
Anyway, I think Hamada will have a harder time due to the stigma of drugs in Japan.
