Tested positively for 'kakuseizai' apparently which from what I can make out is a Japanese form of Meth. Pretty serious stuff, think she'll have to sort her issues out before she thinks about re-employment unfortunately.

Ugh, really, really hope she gets any help she needs. Japan's stigma against drugs doesn't really help the problems that come with overly frequent use and/or addiction, and it'd be a shame to see someone of her talent level completely derailed over something like this.

When the story broke, I figured it was something like Sydal where she got careless about weed and didn't realize the consequences would be way worse than in the US/Mexico, but this would be bad shit for her anywhere. Hope she's able to get herself cleaned up and back on track.

She should hook up with Alberto Thank you for your well thought out, quality contribution to this thread. Knock it off, both of you.

I never really understood her push in TNA. I didn’t realize she was half Hispanic. She has an interesting look to her. Japan seems to really hate drugs. That’s okay, I do, too. what's not to understand about it? She is one of the greatest women wrestlers of all time and may have been the best in the world when she was hired.

Thank you for your well thought out, quality contribution to this thread. There a reason why he couldn't post that? Cracking jokes about people battling drug addiction is so classy. She's a friend of mine.

Aside from liking to party too much they are both second generation wrestlers, he's 40, she's 37 and half Mexican. They seem like a good fit.

You just told him to report me, so I defended myself and now you're telling me to be quiet. I understand the need for strict rules but sometimes I'm confused by the methods of moderation here.

I believe the point he was trying to make was if he had a problem with what you said, use the Report button rather then get snippy with you and escalate the issue

She says she's retiring, may try to work as a Japanese/Spanish interpreter.

If this helps her get clean, I wish her the best. I'm glad she won't do any jail time, and I wish her the best.
I wish she could have been bigger in wrestling, I thought she was extremely talented, but it just wasn't meant to be. What's important is that she does what's best for her.

That is utterly disgraceful I know they have a different drug culture over there but 18 months probation and the death of her career for a bit of speed is ridiculous, man I feel bad for her.

Considering that over here in the U.S., one's career/life can be destroyed by a single tweet or leaked video I don't see how PROBATION and her wrestling career ending for being on drugs is ridiculous. I'd say she got off light.

Exactly; if a person's career is "destroyed" over a leaked video then they likely got caught doing something awful, and the court of public opinion said it didn't want to support projects they're a part of. In this case, Hamada did something that likely wasn't hurting others (at least that's what I presume) and the state itself stepped in and gave her a sentence that effectively ended her career. I don't know the severity of her issues with drugs, but I can safely say that Japan could really use an overhaul of their drug laws. It should be pointed out, of course, that unfortunately even in the States lives can be destroyed over something as simple as possession, but that's a whole other ball of wax in terms of the US's justice system.
