I rather listen to a bottom-of-the-barrel Soundcloud rapper than 10 seconds of this again.

I am not going to watch this but is it about Beth Phoenix not having any passion?

Seriously.
Shithead thinks he's making "Murder was the Case" for the new era.
His dumb ass isn't even making "Gucci Gang".

I don't hate the man, and wish him well but that was awful.

Well, that's certainly one way to voice your frustrations.
Now one of you hip hop heads break down the technical aspects of this because even though I don't quite get it it'll still amuse me greatly.

I've said many times I enjoyed Enzo's shtick towards the end, but that really is one of the worst songs I've ever heard.

I made it to 2:11. Without hyperbole this is the single worst attempt a wrestler has ever made at rapping. i'm not exaggerating that this is sub-Wrestlerock Rumble level. There's no flow, he's not even slightly on beat, the vocals are punched in to attempt to align him instead of just doing a better take, the lyrics are corny similes lifted from mid-century friars club roast joke books, the voice he's doing is wholly unappealing - this is just the absolute gnat shit worst. And I say this as the guy who chronicled the entire history of hip-hop and wrestling for Complex - www.complex.com/music/2014/11/guide-rap-wrestling/

I don't know what is worse, the video, the talky bits (ain't calling that singing), or me for sitting through it.

Detailed breakdown: 0:00-4:48 - literally the wackest shit anyone has ever recorded in the history of the hip hop genre

I wanna break this down more since it's Memorial Day and I'm just lounging. 1. He needs to IMPROVE HIS DELIVERY X100000000 OVER. This is f***ing bad. You don't even know what he's saying. I recall a quote from a hip-hop legend once that said "you can be giving the secrets of the universe in your rhymes but if it doesn't sound good, no one's going to care" and that pulls through here. It doesn't matter if what he writes is dope (I can't even tell you if it is because I don't understand him) because this sounds bad. It's not even his accent, it's the fact that he's not advanced enough as a rapper to enunciate his words clearly. 2. The mix isn't great. Sure, the beat is clean but that's about it. Enzo's voice isn't mixed well with the beat so it sort of sounds like he's freestyling over a beat on Sway or something rather than actually making a track that works. Actually, go to Youtube and type in "Enzo Amore Freestyle" and watch his freestyle on Rosenberg's show. This is just a "higher production" version of that. 3. From what little I can understand through the video, Enzo's all over the place. This goes back to the delivery because at times he was whispering, other times it was like he was trying to take the last remains of Mystikal's career and bring em to a new era. It didn't work. 4. To the beat again, yeah it's clean but the beat sound so damn simple which can be a positive or negative these days. It's a positive because it's easy to have a hit with it. The negative however is when you the artist don't mesh well with it, it looks like you picked a basic beat and still can't hit it. makes you look bad. 5. His flow is pretty much doesn't exist. It's like he tries to find one for a few seconds but then switches to another one but the problem with that is that it's an advanced technique. Guys like Biggie, Eminem, Kendrick can do that because they've got the flow down. If you don't have the flow down and then you try to switch to another flow? It sounds like a tryhard. It's like an indy wrestler during all these big indy spots on the first day. f***ing. Knew. It. Lord, I was just gonna post that in that other thread but didn't because I was searching for samples lmao. This is stupid. To the track...man needs to IMPROVE HIS DELIVERY X100000000 OVER. This is f***ing bad. You don't even know what he's saying. Can he even? I always figured it was an "Either you're born with it, or you'll never get it" sort of thing. Nah not really. Most are trash when they start rapping but if you work on it you can be great. There's some who are automatically dope when they first start due to their voice and just natural ability (Snoop is one who comes to mind, he's got the voice for it) but most are bad. Enzo on the other hand has a problem and that's the fact that not only is it naturally harder for him due to his voice (if you've got a non-rap voice like Em, Kendrick or Biggie you have to work 100x harder than those like Snoop) but the fact is his delivery is trash. That's a very bad mix. You not only have to work harder to make your voice work but you also have to work harder on the delivery part as well because all it takes is one bad syllable and it screws a verse up. Enzo's issue here is that it sounds like he still doesn't know how to use his voice but his delivery is trash so it's just bad to I don't know, day 2 of being a rapper. Without going into details, when I started I was trash but I worked on it but shit there were years where I thought I'd never be able to get used to it but it happened through hard work. It's always hard in the beginning for most. Enzo isn't working hard enough. That much is obvious. In a way this music video's like wrestling for him. He put so much on the "entertainment" aspect of it all (the music video, the beat, the name, the persona) rather than the actual "wrestling" (the voice, the delivery, the flow). It's not good.

Help me, chazraps, you're my only hope!
