Sonic looks just as bad as Garfield did in that live action movie years ago. That movie came out 15 years ago. And this movie's CGI effects don't look that much different from that. 15. Years. |

Damien Darhk needs to go hang out with the Legends again. Detective Pikachu looks like a movie that you can tell was made with the utmost love & respect for the source material. This movie is the total opposite. Made for shits & giggles (and a quick buck) with the most gratuitous nods to the source material possible. I've never seen or played Pokemon, and I want to see Detective Pikachu because of the trailers. Same to all of this. How you treat the source material, who you get for talent, it really does make a difference at the end of the day. I am absolutely getting the Rifftrax of this movie, though. Like, as soon as it releases first day. If there was a line, I'd be the first one on it. I can't wait to hear Mike's reaction to Sonic for the first time. |

Also, I feel decieved by the promotional material, lmao. I was lead to believe Sonic's thighs would be incredible. Here, it looks like my mans skipped leg day for about three years, haha. He's no Randy Orton, that's for sure. |

1)Gangsta Paradise is for the lulz. That's all. But I would have used Every Little Step. Spring Yard Zone sounds very similar to that.
2) Honestly, as long it isn't King of Fighters or Legend of Chun-Li tier of screw the source material/bad, it's a win for them.
