What's the Tom Hanks film where he goes back to community college? Larry Crowne, you may have picked a winner there, everything about it was average

I'm not sure, but it probably has Kevin Kline in it.

Given all the controversy and backlash I thought the Ghostbusters remake was a thoroughly average film when you actually saw it.

Any number of Rom-Coms fit this description. You rarely leave feeling like your world was changed, but you rarely ever come away feeling like you wasted your time.

It was nominated for an Academy Award, but after seeing "The Post" a few months back, I'm pretty sure I'd forgotten what movie I'd just seen as I was driving home from the cinema.

There was a horror movie called ‘The Forest’ and we basically couldn’t recall anything about it about 15 minutes after leaving the theater. It was just there; not horrible, but not good in any way. Average.

The problem with The Post is that it can't help but stir memories of All the President's Men and it's not as good of a movie. I mean does anyone really care about Kay Graham's story? Give me the reporters actually digging up the dirt.
How about Navy Seals? The epitome of a late 80s/early 90s actioner that is totally average.

Pretty much my answer, they're generally extremely paint by the numbers and are as forgettable as they come however they're not bad in an extremely noticeable way so you just mentally file it away under 'that was certainly a movie'

Oh, Atomic Blonde. I enjoyed it and I'm glad I saw it, but the fact that Theron's character is going through a flashback for most of the movie detracts from the dramatic tension. I agree. I mean was I bored for the first half-hour to an hour, but after that, things started picking up. I might watch it on again on TV, but I don't think I liked it enough to want to own it, unless the price drops.

Rustler's Rhapsody starred Tom Berenger & GW Harris.
Yes, I paid to see it.
