You’d think, but what else does AMC have?

For me so far the worst season of TWD is season 2. It was so boring and padded I almost gave up on the show. While the first episode of the current season was a bit dull the second episode made up for it.
Just curious how many of y'all that post in the TWD threads read the comic. I was just gonna wait and buy the compendium when they came out. But got tired of waiting 4 or so years for the next volume to get released. Started buying the trades, which I think collect 6 issues. But felt that paying 12 to 15 bucks for something that took me at most 20 minutes to read was a waste of money. Thankfully my girlfriend got hooked on the comic. And buys each issue as they come out. So I can read it pretty much every month for free.

I think it's still AMC's highest rated show by a good margin. So I can't see them canceling it any time soon.

This whole “Rick Grimes Last Episodes” thing is a swerve. He’s just going to start going by Richard.

And more importantly, who the f*** is Justin?

Solid episode. Glad the missing saviors weren’t forming another group. The murder cult was an unexpected turn, but I liked it. It was nice to be surprised for a change. I’m actually looking forward to next week’s episode.

Good episode this week.
I'm kinda surprised in the comics there wasn't really any fallout with the Saviors. It makes sense they wouldn't give up their ways straight away and would be rebellious.
Unexpected twist with the revenge group. I was suspecting it might be Dwight, since the savior who was killed last week seemed to recognize the person who got him. I'm glad Maggie and Daryl walked away. It makese sense that they'd see things from Oceanside's view. So Janis has been selling people to the helicopter people. Wonder what she means with A and B? And who they are. I thought helicopter people was gonna be Commonwealth but they don't seem to fit now.
Hope Gabe emerges unscathed. I've become a fan of his lately. I look forward to next weeks episode.

Good episode this week. - What's interesting is I can see the scenario from all sides here.. I get that Rick is trying to build peace and that is commendable... I also get that if someone once murdered someone close to you that hatred isn't just going to disappear so of course deep down inside you are going to still want revenge. - Curious to see where they are going to garbage lady...A lot less shipping this week.. How will Gabriel escape this? - It did seem they were teasing the Whisperers only for it not to be. - Finally a human making Walker noises in the show ;D Either way I felt the opener was slow but has picked up since. Really looking forward to the next few episodes

Interesting thing I thought of just now: I remember reading an interview with Laurie Holdon (I think that's her name) who played Andrea in the first three seasons where she said she was originally signed to an eight year contract. I wonder if Andrew Lincoln had the same and gouged them to do these last episodes, which may explain why his last episode is episode five and not a more pivotal point in your average TV series like mid-season or season finale?
Unless it's all a swerve but it doesn't feel like it.

I haven't seen a single episode of this season, yet. Without spoiling anything, is it worth watching just for the hell of it?
