I haven't seen a single episode of this season, yet. Without spoiling anything, is it worth watching just for the hell of it? I mean if you watched the show since the beginning then yeah Things haven’t really been happening but we are entering new territory

Very good episode. I kind of crack up when they keep saying they’re rebuilding the world. No one has noticed that helicopter going about after all this time. There’s another world out there somewhere. I’m curious to see how it plays out.

This whole “Rick Grimes Last Episodes” thing is a swerve. He’s just going to start going by Richard. Well, I mean it's better than going by the worst pornstar name, Dick Grimes...

I am figuring the helicopters are connected to something revealed in the comic in the last year.

I am figuring the helicopters are connected to something revealed in the comic in the last year. That's some massive long term planning and idek if they even make it to that part of the comic
Expecting the show to finish off next season if anything

Maybe they'll rush to it. I can't see the Whisperers been as long and drawn out as it was in the comics.

Seems Whispers will be relegated to half a season as the big enemy
Ending on Commonwealth wouldn't be a bad ending for the TV show

I think the show needs to truely end at rock bottom, and that means: She shows up, says one line, screen cuts to credits, end series. That’s a dour, downer of a finale.

TWD is still AMCs highest rated show. I doubt it dies in the next 3 or so years. For every person you see online saying it has went to crap there is 5 that still love the show. I see either end of the current season or early in the next the Whisperers showing up. Plus been thinking the lady that showed up last season wanting to trade for records is more than likely from the Commonwealth.

I think they mentioned her in the show this season and that they’ve had more dealings with her since they first met.

Okay, this is starting to bug me, but where are all the zombies coming from?
They have no way of increasing their numbers other than living people dying, but seeing how few living people are around (as far as we and the characters know) and how easy the survivors can kill zombies by now, the zombie numbers have to go down every day. Even if one person in Rick's crew gets zombified, it doesn't offset the ten zombies some other guy killed in some forest on the same day. Add to that the part of how they've been living in the same general area for several years now. Shouldn't they have killed every zombie in a 50 mile radius or so?
Sure, there are huge hordes which even if they see, they can't just easily walk up to them and kill them off, but those would consist of thousands of zombies. Still, they keep encountering lone zombies or small groups of 4-5 of them, just appearing out of nowhere. Where were those particular zombies a week earlier? A month? A year? How did they somehow avoid having been killed until now?

How did they somehow avoid having been killed until now? The world has 6 Billion people. The U.S. has over 320 Million
They've no doubt probably killed thousands but that doesn't eliminate the fact they will be around. Some Zombies could have been roaming since the beginning in the woods or whatever because people lived out there and died
The biggest question to my recollection they never really answered is how they survive in the Winter and we know Zombies can deteriorate if they don't eat so there has to be some that die automatically if they are trapped somewhere without food like a house or something like that
