Stone Cold's Disturbed theme is my favorite theme of his. Followed by his iconic one. Then the one he used briefly towards the end of the Invasion.

Watching the last SmackDown and WWE show of 2000. I really don't like Stone Cold's Disturbed theme. His instrumental is iconic. But he's baking the lemons inside ya. And his pancakes are living inside ya!

On the first RAW of 2001. They really need to shut the f*** up about the XFL, but I know they won't... Just wait tell I think the raw 3 weeks out from wrestlemania 17. They have Jim Ross chastise the media for not taking the xfl seriously. It’s like a 3 minute rant

Finished the 2001 Rumble, pretty fun show. There's an uncomfortable amount of headshots with weapons in the Rumble itself, but I guess that's not going away anytime soon.
Is Scotty 2 Hotty the unluckiest Rumble Match participant of all time? Dude ran right into Taker and Kane teaming up on him. Brave, stupid bastard.

Eliminated by his best buddy in 2000, Taker and Kane in 2001, ate shit for Taker in 2002, I think in 2005 he gets attacked on the way to the ring and doesn't enter?

There's nothing more exciting than Taker and Rikishi throwing really slow punches at each other. Thanks January 25 2001 SmackDown.
Oh, hello Justin Roberts Tough Enough audition tape.

I've always loved the contrast of frightened Scotty coming out against Taker and Kane, followed by Austin walking with a purpose and talking trash.

I was apprehensive too when I got up to the Radicalz debut as well. I still get uncomfortable whenever I hear Benoit’s music or see him on the screen. I was glad when I got up to King Of The Ring 2001 because I knew Benoit would be gone for a year after this show. I’m currently on the Raw after Invasion on the road to SummerSlam.

I'm just about to Mania. The second to last SmackDown before.
I'm wondering if I should watch the last Nitro after RAW or save it until I get to the pure Nitro watch.

Starting No Way Out 2001 right now! Looking forward to Triple H and Austin! You lucky bastard if you've never seen this before. It's a f***ing masterpiece, and the subtlety in the booking. I dunno if you made the decision on this or not, but I would watch Raw first. The Nitro show is MUCH stranger, and you're doing a Raw watch.

I would wait until you get there in the Nitro run. It's not worth watching more than once (although I've seen it a load of times because I was watching at the time and rewatch shit a lot) and I think that to contextualise just HOW strange an episode it was you need to have seen all of Nitro leading up to it. Like I know it'd be a weird episode to see compared to October 1996, but it's even surreal compared to earlier in 2001. And No Way Out 2001 is a pretty great show, yeah! Even the shitty matches have a hot crowd. I have no idea why they didn't let Trips and Austin main event.

Which ironically screws over Hunter and Jericho a year later.

WrestleMania 17 is awesome, easily my second favorite after 30. Everything that happened made sense and pretty much all of it just worked. No Pete Rose getting his ass beat was sad though.
Vince, Triple H and Austin just formed their alliance on RAW the night after and it's off to SmackDown!

You're in such a golden era. Early 2001 is awesome. The Rumble/NWO/Mania run is the best trio of consecutive PPVs the WWE has ever run.

Backlash 2001 was okay, maybe a little disappointing compared to the last three shows.
Why the f*** is Raven a babyface now?
Also, X-Factor. Three talented dude, but this stable sucks.

X-Factor are so hated that they're the only guys in WWF that stay heel and don't join the Alliance.

I'm on the final RAW before King of the Ring 2001.
I assume that this is the last week before the inevitable decline into "modern WWE"...
