Low Ki took the money and no showed the event haha. Deep down he's a conman who sees himself as a tough guy. Wow, I never even knew that
Already knew he had a shitty attitude and holds himself in high regard but that gives me an even more negative opinion of him
Ol Ki is our generation's Sabu. Both were innovators, that being said they hate to lose fake rasslin matches, both think the business owes him more than they deserve and that they should be respected. Nah scratch that, Low Ki is worse than Sabu, at least Sabu threw worked punches, Low Ki think it's a real fight.

I remember during that rising vs bdc feud they had an angle in the ring and Drew was supposed to hit ppl with a pipe but it look like he legit caught Low Ki and busted him the hard way. All you see is MVP or someone trying to calm him down on the ramp

Low Ki, who once threw a temper tantrum during a match in CZW because he couldn't get his stuff in, not to mention his multiple flouncings from various promotions. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Low Ki actually demanded extra pay to face Matt Riddle because he needed a training camp for a fake wrestling match. I can't help but laugh at that because seriously who the hell does Low Ki think he is kidding with this.

Cabana has been nice to me the couple of times I've met him and I've not bought a thing from him.
Biggest mark for themselves, and I say this as someone who's on first name terms with him, Chris Jericho.

Ki got his booking fee and then he got an extra for that stupid fight camp thing.

I haven't seen the match just read about it, but in All Japan, Low Ki tried his "fighting spirit" against Akebono, well Akebono then injured Low Ki lol.

Literally the exact opposite. Source: man who Colt has helped make generous money in professional wrestling. His fellow wrestlers love him. No disputing that. As a fan, try talking to him when you’re not buying something from him. He wants nothing to do with you because it’s all about him. That comes from at least several people that had the same experience I did. You can also listen to his podcast and hear how much he talks about “his run” in the WWE. Over and over. Yeah, no thanks. He believes himself to be knowledgeable about topics he has no clue about either. He's watched a few WoS matches online and thinks he's an expert on the old UK scene but hasn't got a clue.

Another Low Ki thinking wrestling is real story.
In the early 2000s, Tammy Sytch sat on his chair by mistake, Ki yelled at her something to the effect off "YOU WILL RESPECT LOW KI!" Bam Bam Bigelow ran to see what was happening and Low Ki started to antagonize him too. Bam Bam would've murdered him if Ki's friends didn't took him away.
A five foot three fake mixed martial artist tried to fight Bam Bam Bigelow smh...

If he was ten years younger and wasn't an asshole, he would be wrestling for world titles at Wrestlemania and I fully mean that. And, some of the shit really wasn't his fault. The WWE treated him like dirt (and maybe fired him; it's still not clear), even when he got over with fans, ranging from workrate freaks to tumblr shippers. And his best years were still dominated by the big-man bias. But. You know. Low Ki. Dude's just a dick.

Jeff Jarrett.
Dude started an entire f***ing promotion to book himself to God status.
FFS, his theme song was even "My World".
He wasn't shy about it.

The Nashville fairgrounds, also known as the asylum, had been a profitable market for years and years, Jarrett killed it by booking himself as superman and beating Raven. Raven drew them their first thousand fans house, they never came back and instead tna just appeared in front of a few hundred people.

He's what, 5'4" and expects to be booked like a main eventer everywhere he goes. I know his WWE run wasn't going well, but Daniel Bryan was pretty much booked the same way and eventually won the title. The fact that he's had chances at most of the major companies in wrestling and yet is stuck in the mid-level US indies should say enough. i think what happened with Low-Ki is that the guy got over being booked as a monster who legit stiffed the shit out of everyone. it was fine in ROH because he was one of Gabe's favorites, and it was fine in Japan because that kind of thing was expected over there. but that was never going to happen in WWE where his size was always going to get in the way and he also wasn't going to be allowed to just take liberties with everyone (he's not JBL after all). take that away and you've got a guy whose a smaller than average decent worker with a comically deep voice. he was never going to work in WWE.

I think the Lay-Cool stuff was actually working pretty well for him. I know he probably didn't like the comedic aspects of the association, but there was some chemistry there and it was getting over.
