Literally the exact opposite. Source: man who Colt has helped make generous money in professional wrestling. His fellow wrestlers love him. No disputing that. As a fan, try talking to him when you’re not buying something from him. He wants nothing to do with you because it’s all about him. That comes from at least several people that had the same experience I did. You can also listen to his podcast and hear how much he talks about “his run” in the WWE. Over and over. Yeah, no thanks. As someone who's met Colt multiple times, never purchased, or even been in a position to purchase anything, from him, and never saw him be anything less than an awesome, funny dude.....you're wrong.

He was an asshole way before WWE tho The laycool pairing actually seemed like a rib against him but it worked. Think if he would have stuck it out he would have been fine Yeah, that's one of the more blatant cases of "we hear this guy has a bad attitude, we'll test him then go from there" failed that test big time. Yea when you think about him and Aries 2 guys who have burned bridges wherever they go, Aries was a guy I never expected in WWE but he was willing to play ball while he was there The one “bad” thing he said about WWE wasn’t even all that bad in regards him being able to make more money on the indies after he left WWE thanks to it booming as compared to when he was in WWE

Hulk wanted WCW to hire Yokozuna just to get his win back from the 1993 KOTR and also got his wish with the Ultimate Warrior.
That's pretty up there, I think.

Can we define "Mark"?

Someone who believes it's real. Mark for themselves believe the false accolades really matter and really, really buys into their own kayfabe image. That would be my definition.

Jericho Jericho Jericho. Just reading books 1-3 you can see his ego grow. Book 3 was Jericho going to town on himself. Haven't even touched his fourth for that reason.

Kevin Sullivan even said that Warrior was only brought in for that reason, about a million bucks to the garbage just to placate f***ing Hogan.

Nah, I'm not sympathizing with the WWE, here. That's still a bullshit, unprofessional way to treat an employee. You should talk to the guy, lay out what's unacceptable, and then work with him in good faith.

I’m definitely not wrong and neither were the several other people that had similar experiences. Many people dislike Jim Cornette. I had nothing but pleasant interactions with him. I would never tell someone they were “wrong” if they had a bad experience with him. I wasn’t there and neither were you. Maybe he was nice to you but not everyone gets the same version of someone.

Antonio Inoki doing weird entrances like that and feeding his fake wrestlers to real mma fighters killed New Japan for years and years.

I'm not even sure if it was a bad attitude thing or just "let's humble the guy who was a big deal on the indies". They did the exact same thing with Bryan. Also, I think Vince likes to give cut and dry wrestlers ridiculous gimmicks to try and bring personality out of them. If he had stuck it out and made things work, which he was, I honestly think he would have been alright. But his ego got in the way.

Yeah the interview was sad, Jericho trying to act like he had the same experiences as f***ing Metallica was pathetic. Another Jericho delusional moment was bragging about his acting abilities when the most he has done is f***ing appearing as the dad on low rent Disney channel shows.
