{Spoiler}That's also the episode where Mica Burton makes her debut as Ensign Alandra La Forge.

{Spoiler}So, this week's episode is called "Bounty." It features Geordi, who is running the Fleet Museum. In beta canon, the HMS Bounty was salvaged from the San Francisco Bay and stored in the Fleet Museum. There's a Bird of Prey on the display in the back of that photo, where Geordi is presumably at the Fleet Museum. One of the thus-far unused teasers in the end credits is an old Klingon cloaking device. We're probably getting an episode where they commandeer the Bounty, or at least "borrow" the cloaking device, aren't we? Also, I hope we at least get to see the other ships at the Fleet Museum.

Holy shit, look at that old timey UFP banner. That whole image is a treasure trove of visual references. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The Zefram Cochrane statue as a pen holder. The copy of "A Tale of Two Cities" that Spock gifted to Kirk in Wrath of Khan. Plus it's LeVar Burton. You have to sneak a book in there. The SW7-class shuttle from TMP. And yeah, the TOS-era United Federation of Planets pennant. On the display behind Geordi is obviously the Fleet Museum, with Enterprise-A, Excelsior, Voyager, Defiant, Pioneer, and (presumably) the Bounty orbiting it.

{Spoiler}Yeah, I don't think they'd just have any random Klingon Bird of Prey in a Starfleet museum. It has to be the HMS Bounty. Only other ship that'd remotely belong in there would be the IKS Rotarran and despite Worf's service, it was still very much a Klingon ship.

Even though I found the Enterprise reveal in TMP over-long and dull, if we get a full three-minutes of legacy ship porn when the characters arrive at the Fleet Museum I'll die a happy man (especially seeing Voyager in full 4K). And don't even get me started on the apparent teases that all those ships may play a part in the finale.

{Spoiler}Calling it now: we're getting legacy ships vs. Changeling-controlled modern ships in the finale. They've had Kirk's remains sitting in an archive for three decades. That's dark, man. Shaw when Picard and Riker show up: Shaw when Geordi shows up:

{Spoiler}I had to pause and rewind a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing things with the Genesis II torpedo. Guess Carol and David's work is not forgotten.
Was nice to see these legacy ships in a new series. Guess if the station is still around Deep Space 9 has a new ship to replace the Defiant. Wonder what legacy the USS New Jersey has to be along the Enterprise-A, Defiant and Voyager.
And hopefully this disproves the "Jack is a Changeling" thing.
Guessing they decided to give Data, in a way, one last chance since Picard Season 1 wasn't as well received as they hoped (even if Data's finale was nice to see for me originally). Curious to see what the end result will be for this hybrid.
Also, nice to see Seven still having fond memories of Voyager.
Oh, and I thought they did nice upscaling the TNG Season 1 footage.

Wouldn't surprise me if somewhere in there they'd have Archer's body preserved (now THAT would be a twist if he showed up...I'm sure the NX-01 is somewhere in that fleet museum). Guessing they kept Kirk's remains there because not only historical importance but his connection with The Nexus.
And with Shaw gushing over LaForge, wonder if he would with O'Brian as well even though he would (assuming O'Brian hasn't retired by now) out rank the chief.

Edit: there she is. Also there was apparently a heartbeat monitor when they passed Kirk's capsule. There's also the ship Geordi has stored in a hanger. Totally the Enterprise-D. With the reverence this season has shown for Trek history and the shameless fan service we've been given, we're totally getting the Trek equivalent of Avengers: Endgame's "portals" scene, aren't we? {Spoiler}Wonder what legacy the USS New Jersey has to be along the Enterprise-A, Defiant and Voyager.

Curious to see what the end result will be for this hybrid. {Spoiler}Well, the New Jersey's registry is NCC-1975. Terry Matalas was born in New Jersey in 1975, and whatever its legacy is (the last unmodified Constitution-class in existence?) I imagine its only reason for existing is cannon fodder so an actual legacy ship doesn't get destroyed in the finale.

Just watched the Ready Room post-show thing they do.
Next week's guest is someone we haven't seen in trailers apparently, as they are listed as a mystery for now.
So it's not any of the TNG crew we've seen, so this could be very interesting to see who they drag up.

Totally the Enterprise-D. {Spoiler}The D would be tricky given only the saucer section survived, and even then just barely from the crash on Viridian 3.
Enterprise-E is probably more likely given they mentioned it had a secret reason for decommissioning in those Instagram things.

Combine that with the first episode's heavy foreshadowing of Picard's "Not my first, but my favourite" when reminiscing about the D and the "Nobody wants the fat ones" disrespect, I'm betting Geordi's restored the saucer section, will rustle up a star drive section from somewhere, and the D will lead the legacy ships and save the day.

The only thing that I could see making it less likely (and this may just be a minor idea to me) is that in some way it would be similar to the Lower Decks Season 3 finale with all the California-Class ships joining up together. But then again Trek has had various repeats (and not even counting the Naked Time/Naked Now thing) so that might not be as big an issue as I make it out to be (and I'm sure Discovery has done something similar but I admittedly haven't watched that series yet...Short Treks from it yes, but not the series.)

Discovery's second season deals with a hostile AI that wants to take over the fleet and wipe out all organic life, which in itself isn't terribly different to elements of Picard's first season.
There's also an AI that takes control of the task force (including the Enterprise-E and the Defiant) that intercepts the Protostar in the Prodigy first season finale, which then causes all the ships to attack and mostly wipe each other out. As that takes place about two years before the Enterprise-F's launch the popular theory is that was the classified incident that led to the E's replacement.

O'Brien is a possibility and obviously also has a history on TNG. Siddig and Robinson have been performing Bashir/Garak audio plays on YouTube for the last couple of years, so you know they'd be up for it. Kira is canonically still in charge of DS9 so if they go that direction she'd have to be involved. Or it's Jeffrey Combs, because you can't have a Star Trek show without Jeffrey Combs.

Long shot since stuff we saw this ep: Denise Crosby. Reborn Tasha somehow? ...thinking about it, I wonder if Tasha could have made a good Section 31 operative.
