Whether it be the Smoking Skull belt, or the John Cena one's, anyone particularly a fan?

Nope.
The belts should always remain the same, no matter who wins them. I don't even like nameplates.

If it's used for that person only, yes.
Cena's awful belts becoming the norm was just embarrassing

Nope, because we had the hideous John Cena WWE Championship for eighteen thousand years.
John Cena ruined it.

Nope. You only need one look for everyone to carry the lineage.

Temporarily, I don't mind it. An egotistical heel refusing to accept he's lost the championship, and creating his own belt to carry around till the babyface champ defeats him and then has both titles is fine.

Nope. You only need one look for everyone to carry the lineage. That's the one. No belt will ever match how beautiful and classy it looked.

Like at all? Big Gold is my favorite of all time, BTW. As for the question... it depends if I like what it looks like. Or if I like the guy with the custom title. I'm definitely not against them, if used sparingly.

I’m a sucker for tradition so I think that they should decide on a classy looking title belt and just modernize it slightly in the coming years if they need to. The winged eagle would be a great start.

No. The main reason it worked in the case of the smoking skull bel tis because Austin was so beyond over that he could have dropped his drawers and peed on the belt it and it would have gotten a pop. For the most part I am a traditionalist and believe the belt should have a black strap and gold plates, none of this multi-colored and personalized stuff. Its supposed to be a prize they fight over, not synonymous with any one individual. And also they should actually WEAR the bloody thing on their way to the ring or in public appearances, but have it draped over the shoulder for backstage segments. Keep it in view constantly.

I think the majority adores it but there are those who never were into it. I believe it has to do with A. The fact that it was around for a long time compared to the other WWE title belts of recent memory and B. It has arguably the greatest lineage; Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Warrior, Flair, Bret Hart, HBK, hell Austin was the very last one to hold it up high. And since Robin Leach passed the other day I think there can be no disputing that the moment they unveiled it, with him walking down the aisle at WM 4 with that belt on a velvet pillow, classy music playing while the audience reached out to touch it was THE definitive way to treat the top title for a promotion. Like the holy grail.

I loved the Smoking Skull belt. That was the only custom one I really liked.

I didn't like the spinner belt at all, but i honestly think I'd take it over the Universal Title.

Hate it now.
Cena killed this as a gimmick in the worst possible way.

When it's called for by the character. Like I never had an issue with Jeff Hardy doing it in TNA (besides just the Vaporeon belt being f***ing ugly), but by no means should it be everyone doing it or anything. Wish Cena had brought back his when he won the US title a few years back... though it'd help if the US title looked any good to begin with.

I want no customization at all. Yeah I'm including Rick Rude and his custom snap box!!!! Thanks Conrad for telling me what that is. I don't think I'll ever be able to use snap box again.
But seriously I'm ok with custom side plates.

The original Biig Gold, that had some silver and different gems, is my favorite. As for custom titles, it needs to sense for someone to have one. At first, it made sense for Cena to have one but for it to become the standard was ridiculous. Love name plates on then though. The champion should be able to point to his/her name/logo on that title and how it is their property and they achieved something that so few have. I look at it like the Stanley Cup or to be more tied to wrestling, the IWGP titles. To be able to see who has had it and things like that makes the title and champ seem like a bigger deal
