Jinpachi being so much more overpowered than any other character in Tekken 5, I get that he's the final boss but even on easy mode it felt like it was pure luck any time I would beat him and having to go through him every time if I wanted to unlock all the characters was maddening.

I was playing a casket match inan old Smackdown game with a friend. We beat the crap out of each other for about 15 minutes but couldn't seal the casket. Then he punched me once and I fell in and lost.

The cutscene in Super Smash Bros Brawl’s Subspace Emmisary where Luigi first appears, only to get turned into a trophy seconds afterwards and you don’t get to use him until right before the end, that pissed me off the first time I saw it.

When I had a First Blood match on No Mercy on the N64.
I was absolutely beating the piss out of some random opponent. I’d hit him with at least a dozen finishers and smashed him in the face about fifty times with various weapons, yet no blood. He hit me with a punch to the face and that was it, blood everywhere.

I can add one to this. Now I don't have as much time to game these days as I used to so my first season in career mode took a good few months to complete. I won the league on the final day of the season on goal difference but for some reason when the match ended the cutscene that played was as if I had missed out even though the table afterwards showed I had finished top. That was a painful moment.

In Street Fighter Alpha 3, if you lose to Bison in Arcade Mode, it's an instant game over. Yep, you gotta start from the beginning.

Some of those post-game challenges in Super Mario Odyssey are bullshit, like the ones where you gotta get a Moon on a time limit before the platforms and the moon vanishes.

Mario Kart 8. That game is the epitome of getting screwed over.

Don't forget Cage matches, you could beat your opponent to their unconscious and have yourself at maximum stamina, but when you try to climb the cage it dwindles and they are back right up and knocking you off it

Having an unblockable stun that can teleport you from any position to standing dazed, along with a half health fireball with a lower charge up time than that stun is literally the biggest dick move I've ever seen in a video game

Me last night playing my friend at Pro Evolution Soccer

Winning 3-2 and in the last second his game ran into mine in the box and he is given a f****** penalty

Constantly hitting shots that my keeper should easily save that he palms out to one of his attackers allowing him to score cheap rebounds

Honestly I don’t think the game comes down to skill half the time, seems to be a thing where my teams mentally goes f*** it and can’t do the things they normally can

The Force Unleashed II, just because I payed seventy dollars for that game and was finished it in one sitting. Plus the ending really demanded a sequel that's never going to happen. But moreso the length of the game.

I never forgave Smackdown Vs Raw 2006 GM mode for once giving the computers show featuring a blank match and a main event of Mark Henry and Joy Vs Daivari and another diva, a better rating than my show that had stuff like HBK Vs Jericho, Edge Vs Triple H, Christian Vs Rey etc.

Tell me about it, The fact that Dagobah was a cutscene & the last 2 levels were revisits of previous levels was one giant kick in the balls.

The Force Unleashed II is the definition of ripoff, Sure games like SFV were barren upon release but at least Capcom sorted for free(Kinda)
