Like I don't agree with Vince acting like a petulant child... But what exactly was all this "Good Will" supposed to get him??? I'd imagine that having to move the show cost him and the WWE money and at the very least a massive headache. I wonder if the actual details of how this happened and how all the entities involved dealed with it (in a business and what no sense, not the garbage Vince decided to present on RAW) has ever seen the light of day? Did the arena have to pay for the cost of moving RAW to LA? Stuff like that. I always wondered. Well, the good will got him actual sports media coverage, which especially in that time frame didn't really happen, since it was before they were cozy with ESPN and such. It was attention for WWE, and they had some extra eyes on them, so their ensuing wave of show-ruining pettiness and shit only Vince McMahon cared about ultimately made for something off-putting and unenjoyable. It doesn't matter how wronged you are, a cartoonish ego trip that makes you look like a bigger asshole than anyone who burned you isn't a good look, and for how much Vince positioned it as the fans being wronged, putting that nonsense in front of their eyes wasn't exactly a make-good either. |

Yeah so Vince has an inferiority complex, probably from growing up dirt poor and being treated like garbage for most of his formative years. It doesn't surprise me in the least he went off like this but good god, was it terrible to watch. I might go back and watch it on the network just to see if it is as bad as I remember it.

In a strange way, I don't get too worked up over Vince being a petulant manchild, because in a way, it humanizes him.
More than just being a faceless executive suit, he's got immediately apparent character flaws as a person that show that being a flawed person shouldn't stop you from potentially building a business empire if that's what you want to do.
