So Grimm Fairy Tales Classic didn't come on Nickelodeon till 1992? Really I got cable in 1989, I remember it being on much earlier before 1992. Am I mis remembering. And how come the English episode dates are as early as 1989, where did the English version air before Nickelodeon? Maybe it was a standalone show then, but I remember Grimm Fairy Tales being a part of Special Delivery, which was so hodgepodge-y that I have little doubt that it aired irregularly before 1992. We're entering my prime years of consuming all things Nick and I have Z-E-R-O memory of Dr. Snuggles. Even as I aged out of Nick Jr. I was generally aware of what was on it. This might be the last show until 1994-95 that I've never seen or heard of. Yeah that is probably it. I got confirmation that is the case, I wonder how this will effect the Nick Knack schedule. |

I remember Grimm Fairy Tales airing regularly in what had to of been 1991 at least. We moved from Indianapolis to another town in fall of 1991 and I remember watching it in the afternoons reguarly when we still lived in Indianapolis.

Finders Keepers Next: Doctor Snuggles (and yes, the first coverage of Nick Jr.) What a disappointment of an episode. Hardly any talk about the set design, which was the best thing about the show. A lot of the episode could be summed up as, "I don't know because I don't have the information." He could have simply asked any of the experts out there or any of the staff, including Byron Taylor who built the set. A lot of these people are on Facebook and he could share a couple videos that he has done to prove he means business. |

Okay I did some research on Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics, and did you know in the Japanese version the narrator is a woman. Looking at the opening and ending, you don't suppose this green haired fairy is the narrator, she has a large presence in both the OP and ED. Who knows I never seen the original Japanese version, maybe there is an intro animated segment with the green haired girl in each episode for all we know.

Good news guys. the next Nick Knacks video is rendering. So the Patrons should get it maybe in a few hours, the rest of us Thursday.
Edit: Still rendering, must be a long video. Well it also 1988 year in review, and a Nick Jr. retrospective. Who knows maybe 50% of the video will be about Dr. Snuggles.

Noozles...
What's weird is the only memories I have of that show is that I remember seeing the final episode before most of the rest of the series. Don't remember much of any of it, but still.

David the Gnome will be after Noozles, and again it'll be interesting just how much Greg actually talks about the Weinsteins. Their involvement is a bit trickier to brush away than when he mentioned Cosby and Picture Pages.

So I watched the last episode of the Noozles yesterday, did you know that the last episode {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Was a clip show. I wonder if he will mention that. I know Grimm Fairy Tales Classic is getting a Blu Ray release with the original Japanese version included, I wonder if Noozles will ever get that, would love to see at least one episode of the original Japanese version. Also would love to know the Japanese names of these character, wikipedia doesn't list them. |

I found a Noozles episode in Japanese (no subbed thought, just Raw Japanese), am afraid to watch it though, afraid that it will turn me off the English dubbed forever because it will be so superior.

I have plenty of memories of watching Noozles on Nick Jr when I was very young, but man, my memory had partially swallowed up the swerve into strangeness the show takes halfway through. Seeing clips brought a lot of that flooding back all at once.
