the Full Nelson doesn't seem to get a lot of love... or either the regular or Inverted atomic drop. For that matter, same with the Victory Roll. Then people start complaining that people are winning via roll ups for some reason. I liked Chris Masters' Masterlock finisher, especially when he feuded with HBK, that was probably Chris' best match during that first run in 05 and it was built around the Full Nelson.

I remember a lot of people online shitting on the masterlock... but I loved it and the challenge... yeah it's "just a full nelson" but they're rarely seen now and they are an effective move for immobilizing people if you do them right.

Head between the knees, jump up and down, the old "ear ringer". Junkyard Dog would use that. Watching older stuff, I marked for that.
Clapping around a guy's head. Don Muraco was a master.
Raking the eyes with bootlaces, the ring ropes. Even Backlund would do the "stand on a guy's face and spin" face rake with the sole of his boot.

Guys in singlets using their strap to choke guys while hiding it from the ref.

Not quite as rarely seen as the moves here, but it seems like a normal back suplex is getting rarer and rarer. Everyone goes for a Saito suplex instead.

I was always fine with the Masterlock because Masters would just jerk their head & arms around like he was trying to rip them off. Disorienting AND painful makes for a great submission. Speaking of submissions, I haven't seen anyone bust out the Stretch Plum in ages. Plus, I wouldn't mind seeing Bad Luck Fale or the Guerrillas of Destiny start doing the Tongan Death Grip.

I remember Scott Hall saying in an Austin interview that his son Cody was going to bring back the clawhold. Not sure if he followed through on it or not.

other old heel moves not seen much choking the opponent with your leg while arguing with the ref over a 2 count or something. Not technically a move, but speaking of heel moves, the "loaded" weapon needs to return.

She had the glove things in her entrance.

I was gonna say The Airplane Spin, but it has gotten something of a resurgence lately. Watching Kendrick give Enzo one for 3 straight hours was fun.

The only time I’ve ever watched a bearhug on the indies was in ROH and it was a match between Brodie Lee and Necro Butcher. I think the move was done because Lee had no idea what to do next with Necro.

I dont think it has been used as a finisher in decades or as a resthold when people blow up. Edit: I’ve just seen one of her matches, she’s good, unfortunately most of the views are from people who aren’t necessarily pro wrestling fans if you know what I mean...
