The newest episode, holy shit, that was a fast 40 minutes. And Gina Carano is a welcome addition to the Star Wars Universe, and Bryce Dallas Howard did a great job directing. Quick spoiler for this episode, nice little easter egg. {Spoiler}We got a live action Loth-Cat! Was not expecting that.

Good episode again.
Is it me or was the Walker bigger than the usual models? I can't remember the AT-ST versions been that big or intimidating.

So I don't really get the writing of The Mandalorian himself. He's supposed to be this one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, right? He's supposed to have advanced combat skills, yet he's constantly getting his ass handed to him. The alien he tried stealing the egg from was basically going to kill him until The Child stepped in. In this episode, Cara Dune is arguably more skilled then he is. So why exactly are we following this guy around? Not to mention he's pretty consistently making very iffy calls. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}There's too much attention on this small farming town, so he's going to leave, but he's going to leave The Child, who people are actually looking for, in this town that has all this attention on it? I mean...come on, man. Am I wrong here?

re: the merchandise - so much of The Rise of Skywalker merchandise was leaked before it was officially announced, they held off on merchandise of Baby Yoda so it wouldn't leak. Other Mandalorian merch has been around for a couple of months by now. I enjoyed chapter 4. It was a different speed to the previous episodes, but it was still awesome. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}And I was so happy to see a lothcat! I loved those in Rebels so I'm glad to see one again.

Fun episode. Baby Yoda casually sipping his soup while Mando and Cara held guns to each other's heads is gonna replace the Kermit "that's none of my business" meme.

Yeah, for this tiny village, this could very well be the biggest walker they've ever seen, and there's no AT-AT looming above to dwarf the ST.

I hope Destroyer Droids crop up at some point. I always thought they were one of most badass things from the prequels--looked cool and even Jedi ran from them.
Would be nice for them to crop up as a foe for Mando.

Probably felt like the breeziest episode so far but it was fun, I liked it. I thought the humor and sentimentality were on point. For a second I thought they had the balls to {Spoiler}off mistah new world wide The child. Again, breezy. Reminded me of an nice kinda random episode that Hercules and Xena used to have. Not an insult, I loved those shows. Also appreciated how frightening and imposing they made the AT-ST look. And Mando just continues to give me life. I love the character, I love his little struggles, when he’s a dick and.. {Spoiler}i was screaming when homegirl began taking off his helmet: “no No NO DONT YOU LET HER DO IT!”

Fun episode. I’m enjoying the steady character development and the random Easter eggs we keep getting from other Star Wars properties. You just never know what’s going to show up. I heard they’re already working on a season 2 so color me happy.

Do you know how boring/dull this show would be to watch if Mando won every fight he was in with ease and made exactly the right decision every time with nothing going wrong?

That shot of the AT-ST towering above the village was great. Amazing scene and shot.

That's fine if maybe it was something that was built up to and he finally met his match. He's talked up like he shouldn't have these flaws, though, when really stuff goes wrong on the regular for him. I'm just saying the things that are said about him and the reality of him seem like two different things to me.

He's only really talked up as a great bounty hunter because he appears to always catch his target. That's a reputation based on results, rather than the method in which he gets those results. He's not the best gunfighter, he's not the best hand-to-game fighter, but he never lets that get in the way of bringing in his mark. Everything else is just based on the reputation of Mandalorians in general.

I thought the latest episode (the 4th one) was definitely the weakest so far, but I still think this is easily the best Star Wars thing Disney has put out thus far.
