Interviews i've seen him do said he wish he handled it better but who wouldn't say that after leaving $50 million on the table. However, he got a big money deal with Netflix still after all these years of staying out the spotlight so I think he's fine overall and made the best decision for himself

Nope, he’ll never return to the level of greatness and influence that he had with Chapelle Show. That deal with Netflix don’t compare to what Comedy Central offered him and the movie opportunities there were at the time, I believe Rick James and Clayton Bigsby could’ve been great movie franchises. Him getting another opportunity on the spotlight is a testament to his talent, but he’ll never be as big. I understand that it was his choice to quit, but he left a lot on the table. |
