If I was made the all-powerful leader of the world, the first thing I would do would be to ban DC and comic book media from ever again using the phrase "best superhero movie since the Dark Knight." Every time I see that "since the Dark Knight" line I think "Nice of DC to admit they haven't made shit in 15 years" although I admit I liked Aquaman and about half of the first Wonder Woman. WW was on a cusp of being really great until they shit the bed at the end.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Clooney's cameo at the end is confirmed by multiple accounts. I am so there.
Post-credits are Mamoa getting drunk on his ass and falling into a puddle.

Id love to hear, or I guess read, you explain how it's good. Characters that are nothing like their comic counterparts, over acting, the terrible Batman voice, the worst cinematic Joker of all time. Convoluted plots that fall apart of you apply two seconds of logical thinking to them. Terrible.

Personally I love the Burton movies and the resemblance on those goes about as far as, "There is a billionaire beating people up while dressed as a bat," so I'm not going to cast stones at Nolan for changing things. As for the Joker point... Even if you don't enjoy Ledger that just seems wild to say to me in a world that has Leto's performance in it. I do think the movies are kind of overrated, and I could totally get if someone can't get into Begins or Rises because they're both very slow to start, Begins spends most of its runtime just telling you, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," over and over for being based on a comic book, and Rises is full of absolutely massive plot holes and just kind of completely detached from anything even slightly resembling real world logic, but personally I do think they're all quite fun ways to kill some time.

The Burton movies, to me at least, catch the spirit of the comics. And I think Leto's Joker isn't that bad. The dude is weird IRL, but his Joker is fine. I truly believe if Ledger hadn't tragically passed, more people would shit on his "could be any post modern edgelord villian" portrayal.

Convoluted plots that fall apart of you apply two seconds of logical thinking to them. Terrible. Batman isn't even consistent in the comics. No character that's existed for 80+ years and had an entire city of writers is going to be consistent and I just see the movies as another interpretation that's as valid as any other. The main reason why I like TDK trilogy is because of the portrayal of Bruce Wayne. I'm that odd Batman fan that thinks Bruce Wayne is infinitely more interesting than the Bat so the bad Bat voice and poorly filmed action sequences do not matter at all to me. Batman is three roles - Batman, Brucie Wayne, and the real Bruce - and I think the trilogy (and Batman Begins especially) nailed that perfectly. I can understand people not liking Ledger's take on the Joker (although I do) but considering him the worst when Jared Leto exists is a little mindboggling to me. I have more of an issue with Liam Neeson as Ra's Al-Ghul personally, but that's another discussion. I must have seen the Keaton movies a million times when I was a kid and a teenager and I love them but I also love TDK trilogy. But this is just my opinion on the movies. We're all entitled to different opinions and I didn't owe an explanation of mine but thought I'd share anyway.

Im just genuinely curious when people have a different opinion than me, as to why. I guess it's a symptom of being Neurodivergent. Thank you.
