Rumors flying around Twitter and Facebook is anyone that worked All In has been contacted about AEW. No idea how true that is.
There is so much unknown/barely known good Indy wrestlers in places like TX/LA/MS/TN/AL. AEW would be smart to scout the feds in those states. Cause there is a lot of talent that is TV ready or could be TV ready fast. Guys and ladies like Rey Fury,Vordell Walker,Kiki Vibez, Steve Anthony and many more. Fill the lower card and mid card with these unknown and fairly cheap talent. And have the upper mid card and main event be the known and more expensive talent.

Really not just those states but also Missouri too. Seeing a few guys from Glory Pro come to CZW the last couple months has introduced me to a few really good guys that haven't gotten looks. But from the very little I'm hearing, the people involved want a roster they can build.

I'm pleased he's looking for women, too.
ROH took wayyyyyyyyy too long to do anything with women's wrestling, so if AEW is going to be on the ball with it going in, that's a good thing in my eyes.

I'd argue they are still doing nothing really with the women. It's essentially built entirely around Sumie and have not built anyone near her level, except Emma who is injured.

It's still lacking, agreed, but it at least nominally is a thing.

Honestly though what channel would want Wrestling on their Network in 2019 though? All of this comes down to landing a major TV deal & it can’t be something on the level of POP TV. It needs to be on a major network. I can’t think of any off the top of my head that would want wrestling.

Maybe one of the other big four saw the Fox deal with WWE and wants to get in on the act? That seems highly unlikely to me. Spike/Paramount network could be a contender as well, but with their rebranding I'm not sure if executives want pro wrestling on their network again. WGN? Meh.

Don't think I've seen anyone mention it, but depending on what All In did for PPV, I could definitely see DAZN being interested.

So apparently at a meet and greet in Melbourne, somebody asked Cody about at it and he said to "wait for January for an announcement" and that "its bigger than anyone expects". Holy shit, man. This is for real-real, not for play-play.

Meh. lol Paramount & WGN were the 2 I thought of & had literally the same exact thoughts you did. I was thinking maybe AMC possibly too. I mean what other channels are there really? It won’t be TBS or TNT. I could see it being WGN though due to them airing the pre show of All In. WGN feels like a mid card channel though. But at least it’s much better than POP TV I guess.

I don’t see a wrestling company on an online app being that big of a deal. They need to be on a major TV network.

What does it say that a new promotion would probably kill for the ratings TNA used to get on Spike during its heyday?

WGN would not be that big of a deal so hopefully they can get Spike or something similar.

WGN would not be that big of a deal so hopefully they can get Spike or something similar. I don't know about that. A new entity on a network that craves wrestling and is available to 80,000,000 homes right off the bat seems a big deal to me. Yeah, there are networks that are in more homes but how many are willing to go all in on not just wrestling but a brand new wrestling product like this?

I agree but WGN I have a feeling is one of the frontrunners to be the channel they’re going to be on if this fed really happens. Just a guess but it’s probably between Paramount Network & WGN. It would be shocking if it went on something like CBS, ABC or ESPN.
