finally for this i once again changed everything ... in the qualifying for the ea hockey / nba live 98 / rugby world cup 95 games
all three now have three paths to promotion
and OH BOY was it totally easy to work out how to do it

and i'll post the rest here when i do ...

design wise they were far easier and far quicker to create than before, those beautifully created banners with the countries flags previously were extremely enjoyable to do, but losing in the USB disaster was pretty gutting to be honest!

i also wanted to design them less square, so i did a little pixel bevel at the top and bottom ... and in the rom itself because the space is the colour of the ice that makes them transparent, so looking at them closely in the menu screen you can actually see parts of the players through the banner!

but before that decision, i wanted to try my original idea for the design incorporating the flag patterns






but i'm cheap and thought it would take too long, and i wanted things done YESTERDAY!
