I'll quote it, since it's from the Sun. Not saying he's wrong about this, but he is pretty much just bitter he didn't win. Walked in, a trained dancer, expected to blitz the whole competition. Bullied his partner to the point of tears, then spent the after party when he was knocked out mumbling to himself about how he should have won. There have always been people famous because they were famous, it's just there are more outlets for that kind of thing now. Plus Joe Sugg and Stacey Dooley wouldn't exactly be the best examples. Doesn't matter if you like it or now, Joe makes a lot of content off his own back, he's working hard. Stacey Dooley does documentaries, they're hardly Zsa Zsa Gabor, Tara Palmer Tomkinson or Paris Hilton. The interview where he said that was two weeks before he was eliminated, so I'm not so sure bitterness has much to do with it. And yeah, while the targets of his rant may not be 100% deserving of his comments, the sentiment is spot on. It's all too easy these days to get famous on the strength of how photogenic you are or how big of a mouth you've got, rather than any actual talent.

He was already in the bullying phase by then, so pretty angry man. And I'm not saying it's not easier now, just that there have always been people who get famous for no reasons. Supermodels have been a thing for 30 years, where the talent is literally how photogenic you are, that and putting up with abuse. Heck a quick check brings this list that goes back pre 1900 nymag.com/news/people/31556/ So this is less of a change than people think, it's one of those things every generation complains about as if it's new when it really isn't.

Okay to show the difference in generations between us, change Drake and Josh into the Adventures of Pete and Pete. I'll see you that and raise you You Can't Do That on Television. I'm there with you, but I felt like nicktoons up to Rocko's modern life/Angry Beavers deserved some respect. I know a lot of people love All That, but I see that as the true downfall.

They had no choice but to change names, but WWE will never sound as good as WWF.
I also really dislike how modern cartoons seem to all look like they are animated by the same people. I think they call it the "cal-arts" animation or something.
Speaking of animation, as a big Dragon Ball Z fan, I miss the animation from the early days, like the Saiyan and Namek arcs. Granted, depending on who was in charge of animating the episode, some episodes were horrendously animated. But for the most part, the style back then looked so good. Not so glossy like Super is. I miss the detail put into simple things, like battle damage and hair blowing in the wind. They look like they are made of wax now to me.

Rock music in general being pretty much dead in the mainstream I find a bit weird. Lame arse Ed Sheeran might be the biggest mainstream rock star (If you can even call him that) in the world. The biggest bands are lifeless bands like Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons & Mumford & Sons. The press going ga ga over a glorified tribute band like Greta Van Fleet as if no band today is playing an old style of rock and roll.Of course you can listen to what you want and thanks to Apple Music I can. Thank goodness for Streaming sites because mainstream radio is pretty much unlistenable. This drives me CRAZY. Can't STAND Greta Van Fleet. Just listen to Led Zeppelin!
