Another year is wrapping up, so let's all decide who gets the honor (or dishonor) of being WWE's Person of the year for 2018, using Time Magazine's criteria. For those who don't know, Time Magazine's "Person of the Year" award isn't based on accomplishments and achievements that are positive in nature. The designation goes to whoever has the biggest impact, whether positive or negative. Time's exact definition is “the person or persons who most affected the news and our lives, for good or ill, and embodied what was important about the year.” We did this poll last year. And as you can see, the award didn't exactly go to someone like AJ Styles or Roman Reigns. officialfan.proboards.com/thread/567778/wwes-person-year-magazine-styleSo go ahead, vote and explain who you believe is WWE's Person of the Year!

Reigns. Most of the focus of the on-screen product was around his continuing chase of Lesnar, his failure at WrestleMania and finally doing the thing at SummerSlam... only to be struck down with a recurrence of leukaemia a couple of months in.

I picked Titus because the dude does something amazing and cool on a weekly basis outside of the ring for the disadvantaged.

Has to be Reigns. The repercussions of his Universal title hunt in the early part of the year to the announcement of his leukemia in recent times has reverberating effects in most big storylines directly and indirectly this year on Raw.
Only other contender in my mind is Bryan.

I went with Becky Lynch.
She's bringing the eyes to the women's division that they've wanted, even if she's not the person they want doing it.

Reigns. For tragic reasons but yes it's Reigns.
Is he the superstar of the year? Absolutely not. Person of the year yes.

I kind of think the person who had the biggest influence on what WWE did in 2018 and the direction it took as an entity doesn't work for WWE at all...

Up until Roman's announcement and Becky's rise, I figured Ronda Rousey would be the most likely candidate. Things really changed these last couple months.

I wanted to vote Becky, but I'm going to go with Roman here.

Roman definitely after he was diagnosed again, probably Becky otherwise. But even Becky has only been for half the year.
I mean, Roman leaves and alliances change and so do face/heel alignments.

That Saudi prince has probably been a bigger game-changer to WWE's overall business model than any individual performer.

I voted Roman, though Becky and Bryan also saw votes tossed their way. Roman is, rightly, in the lead, though. The landscape of the company changed overnight.

It pretty much has to be Roman.
Him going public with his diagnosis did a lot of good for bringing awareness to the disease. Hopefully the spotlight will lead to donations being made to fun research to create better treatment methods or a way to totally eliminate it.
