There's a potential point in him preferring Becky's pre Summerslam character, which was much more the "I'll fight for what's right!" babyface he's talking about. I can see the whole The Man thing becoming tiresome after a point, whereas the previous character was always going to be over.

If he has so many problems with the company, maybe he should sue...what could go wrong?

Okay, can we cool it with wrestling podcasts? Articulate people with something interesting to say like Eric Bischoff or Edge is one thing, but who wants to listen to an entire show hosted by a guy who couldn't cut a promo? Does he just shout nonsense the entire time? Actually, sounds about right. See also Stevie Ray who seems to have never met or interacted with anyone he speaks about. Eg? Saying Regal didn't like to do jobs and tried to hold people down in WCW. William. Regal.

I can’t really take a guy who could’ve even get over a fence by himself seriously. When it comes to what works in today’s wrestling world let’s not even ask the guy whose singles push consisted of dressing like a leather daddy on Smackdown for a few weeks. Without Hawkhe was nothing special plain and simple.

I have such a soft spot for adorkable Becky, but I think The Man has more mileage because even if the fans started to turn on it (which I don't see happening but still), it'd be really easy to turn her heel.

Perhaps more no-selling of piledrivers onto concrete is the answer. It's the key to the secret of the universe, my friend.

(Road Warrior Animal watching The Rock vs. HHH match at Backlash 2000)
"You've got Austin going out there swinging a chair like some kind of tough guy, hitting everything in sight like a maniac and this is supposed to be a good guy? The fans aren't buying it. What they should've done was have Austin come out and politely ask the McMahon-Helmsley regime to stop ganging up on Rocky and only get physical if they attacked him first."

I personally preferred the "Straight Fire, Becky Balboa" persona, and don't particularly like the whole "The Man/Becky McGregor" persona that much. But it's the latter that got hot, so you have to ride it for as long as it's working.
