Wasn't a huge fan when they came out. Don't think I could make it through them now. Not a big fan of Mcguire as Peter, think Garfield is still my favorite.

Misery misery misery, that's what you've chosen. I offered you friendship and you spat in my face.
Don't care what anyone says but I love Goblin in the first movie

Still love part 1. spidey 2 is one of my favorite superhero films of all time. Part 3 is is honestly pretty good until Pete gets the symbiote suit, them the movie goes way downhill from there.

Spider 2 is still my top choice but that is mainly for Doc Ock (still dislike the need to have him redeem himself though).. However all of the movies for me focus far too much on Peter Parker.
I’m hopeful for the new one as Mysterio is my favorite Spidey villain but there track record with the villains is kind of meh.
Goblin (costume is jokes) Dr Ock (redemption arc feels wrong) Sandman (perfect) Venom (just bad) Goblin 2 (didn’t work for me) Lizard (not feral enough, or lizard like) Electro (kind of liked it but not the ultimate costume) Goblin 3 (brought in way to quickly) Vulture (good) Shocker (barely on screen)

First two are still the only good ones. 3, both Amazing Spider-Man's, and Homecoming were all crap.

1- I watch the first one around Thanksgiving every other year or so. As it has one of the best thanksgiving scenes ever put on film. The rest movie has it aged well? No. Do I still love it yes.
2 - Is a much better overall film. It’s also more funny and has better action. But the whole Spider-Man no more plot just slows the movie down to a snails pace. You can start the movie at the cafe scene and lose nothing.
3 - Yes it’s crap. But it’s cheesy over the top fun. The movie is all over the place but it never slows down. I probably watch this one more than the other two.
AS 1 - I felt this was a good start for the new series. Andrew and Emma’s romance carried these films. Though Andrew we Peter was a bit to cool and kinda a jerk. I really hated the parents subplot.
AS 2 - This movie is crap and not in a good way. Shoehorning mentions to sequels that would never come. Batman Forever level villiams. The blood plotline. They upped all the worse stuff from the first movie instead of the good.
Homecoming - I really liked this one a lot. But there was way to much iron man. I get why he was there. But it felt very MCU connected instead of being its own story and world.

Yeah, they hold up pretty well... 1 probably shows it's age the most. but like the love Raimi put into the scenes in 3 that were clearly from the movie he wanted to make still hold up really well like the creation of the Sandman... it's a shame they were stuck in that movie where Sony basically forced Raimi to change his entire vision... and Raimi was so angry he pretty much admitted he probably self-sabotaged it a bit. Toby pretty much nails Peter Parker... but not so much Spider-man himself... though I'd put 1 and 2 over Amazing easily... and I'd even have more fun with 3 than Amazing 2... which was miserable. I thought Garfield got the quippy aspect of Spidey down but was awful as Parker. The Green Goblin costume was hilarious in Spidey 1. That first fight scene between Spider-Man and the Goblin in Times Square looks like something out of a tokusatsu show like Power Rangers or Kamen Rider. Willem Dafoe was a great Norman otherwise. Hell, giving his face green makeup might've been enough to make a convincing Goblin face. what's always weird about that is they did make an animatronic Goblin face... and then didn't use it.

In his first appearance Flint Marko was on the FBI Ten Most Wanted list. Meaning he was a cold blooded murderer. Him having any kind of redemption was far more wrong IMO that Doc Ock. This goes for the comics for me as well.

They've never been good in my opinion. Whether you were a fan from the comics or numerous cartoons, you knew Spidey was supposed to be a sarcastic motor mouth. Raimi's version was bland as hell. He put on the mask and remained the same mopey plank of wood he was without it. Then you've got Kirsten Dunst and James Franco stinking up the joint.
I will say this, most of the villains and supporting cast were incredible. The three leads were just pure crap, though.

Some dumb moments aside, the first two are the definitive Spider-Man movies, and will never likely be bettered.
The third one is just a mess.

1. I know many people that give this movie hell now but it was the first Spiderman movie, so yeah there's some growing pains. It's still not a bad movie, it's just not aged well. 8 out of 10
2. Is fantastic and a must watch for any Superhero fan. This feels like this was the first Superhero movie in the 2000s to pull it off right. It's a toss up between this and Iron Man for my favorite superhero movie, but I do have some catching up to do in the MCU. Spiderman 2 is 10 out of 10.
3. They tried too much and tested too many things that just didn't work. If you liked the first two, you might as well finish the trilogy. If you're going in thinking it's going to be as good as 2, you're going to be dissapointed. 6 out of 10
I think the Raimi movies would be remembered better if 3 was not a major step down than the other two. It's the last impression and it leaves you with a bitter taste to end the trilogy out.

The only thing that will always reign supreme for me in the Raimi movies is of course... J.J. There will never be a better J.J.

Raimi 1 is my favorite Spiderman movie, and one of my favorite superhero movies period. I don't like Raimi 2 nearly as much as most people seem to. Doc Ock's 'redemption' just came way too easy. It felt fake, and ruined the end of the movie for me. I will say the train fight is one of the all-time great action scenes.
Ranking 1. Raimi 1 2. Homecoming 3. Raimi 3 (This could've been a great movie if it was just Sandman plus the forgiveness theme. He was a cool villain.) 4. Amazing 1 5. Raimi 2 6. Amazing 2 (The drizzling shits. People complain about Venom being clumsily forced into 3, but somehow Goblin in this one gets a pass? I hated everything about this movie.) Didn't see Spider-verse

I think so, in the same way Burton's Batman run does.
