Are there any promos you have enjoyed between two wrestlers that had great nonverbal moments that enhanced what they were saying or was better than what was actually being said? By non verbal moments I mean body language, in ring spacing, facial expressions. One promo with great nonverbal moments I have always liked was when Rey Mysterio called out the Undertaker before Royal Rumble 2010.

It isn't two people. But when they were building Roman/Brock at some point, Brock shows up to beat Roman up. Baron Corbin is in the ring. And the look of fear and anxiety and cowardice in his face when Brock turns to him to see if he has anything is some of the most subtle acting I have ever seen in wrestling.

The Rock’s very distinctive body language was always as much a part of his promos as anything he said.

The promo where Bob Backlund puts the WWF Magazine writer in the crossface chickenwing has been on my mind a lot lately. The first great part of it that is noverbal would be the faces Backlund is making the whole time, with the second great nonverbal component being the camera man retreating from the ring. It really conveyed the idea of, "No one is safe from Bob Backlund."

The Nexus Invasion is largely wordless once the announce team is wiped out, and all the better for it. That seemingly random shot of a masked Tarver appearing in the front row, signalling that something weird is about to happen. The heels, looking as confused as everyone else, getting killed at ringside before we know why they're all here. Barrett just nodding and the whole group taking to the apron as one on command. Cena looking around, piecing together the inevitable, and trying to go down swinging. Punk crawling back into the ring on his own to try to save Cena, of all people. The Nexus firing up Gabriel so he'll go up and deliver the killing blow to the top guy in the business. And when it's finally done, the camera going the wreckage, especially at ringside, with the only sound being that kid crying out for Lawler, "Mr. Kiiiiiing! Mr. Kiiiiiiing!" An amazing, ultra-rare instance of the product getting out of its own way for once and letting the story tell itself.

Roman Reigns' entire pacing around the ring the night after WrestleMania 33. Soaking in the hostility and just carrying it in his hands until he delivered his one line.

Randy cupping his mouth in shock at what he had done after punting Vince is one of my favorite things ever.

Shawn Michaels' promo trolling the fans in Montreal in 2005. When Bret's music hits, the look on Michaels' face is absolute gold. Still gives me an adrenaline rush thinking, wait ... NO! ... is it ... is Bret ... ? www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgW2G5QoHFY

Hunter challenging Taker to their match at Mania. No words just pointing and silent taunts.

Everything between "How come my name's on this?" and Owens attacking Jericho.

The one that always comes to mind is HHH's "oh shit" face when Mankind takes off his mask and white shirt to become Cactus Jack on Smackdown. Foley's promo was pretty good even without that, but Trips' facial expression really hammers home how big a deal it is. One of my all-time favourite Smackdown (or even WWE) segments.

Foley really put Triple H over in Foley is Good for selling it so hard, saying that it could have easily been a "so what? different shirt" moment if Hunter had half-assed his reaction to it, but he sold it as a huge deal. I know they've had occasional issues outside of the ring, but I feel like Mick and Hunter often got the best out of each other.

Yeah, totally, if you were to put his earlier smirking face in the part where he reacts to Cactus Jack then the whole dynamic would change, Foley would look like a total doofus. Thankfully that's not how it happened, and we got the gold that we did. Also I agree, I think they worked great together, I miss their chemistry, they're two of my favourites. Although I think everybody would largely agree that Austin and The Rock were the (even) bigger stars, HHH and Foley were always right up there for me, especially when they were doing angles with each other.

Austin, Rock, Triple H, and Mankind really seemed to have a lot of shared chemistry. Grab any two of them, and you had the makings of a really good main event with them. Kane was a good supporting player alongside that. It's a shame Undertaker was working hurt and wouldn't really get his groove back until Austin was retired, and HBK was off being... well, HBK, until, again, after Austin was out of the picture, plus Rock was gone to Hollywood, and obviously, Foley was out of active competition by then. Had that not been the case, feels like we could have had even more classics.

Rock and Hogan first stare down and them just milking the moment by looking at the crowd.
