What are some music videos that leave you wondering "what the hell was that?". I'll start with Estranged by GNR. Epic song, but can anyone explain the video?:
I mean, where do I begin? The cops in Axl's mansion, all the water imagery, what I assume are Axl's kids playing in the front yard of the same mansion, Axl jumping off the boat and being saved by the dolphins, what were they trying to say here?

Genesis- Land of Confusion. A weird video with weird, grotesque puppets. This freaked me out when I was a kid.

Genesis- Land of Confusion. A weird video with weird, grotesque puppets. This freaked me out when I was a kid. See being British, this is pretty straight forward. The puppets were all from the satirical puppet show Spitting Image which ran for ages, so this was a weekly occurance for 12 years.

I think the video is kind of funny in a bizarre way now that I'm watching it as an adult so I suppose I can understand the appeal of seeing a weekly TV series of skits with these kinds of puppets, but as a child I was just sort of creeped out by them.

Hello by Lionel Richie.
He’s a College Professor. He’s stalking someone. She’s a student. She’s a lot younger than him. He’s calling her in the middle of the night. She’s blind.
How the shit is he still a teacher?

“Deep’ a non album Nine Inch Nails song that was apart of the first Tomb Raider soundtrack. Other then a symbol that appears in the film, the rest of the music video has nothing to do with it.

It’s a pleasant love song. However, most people remember a stalking teacher and a clay head.

"Twisted" by Keith Sweat. The whole thing does not make much sense. Okay, I get that the woman character was a wanted thief, who may have been involved in killing someone. Sweat played a cop and falls for the girl, only for him to realize that she was the villain of the story. He arrests her and she tries to make her escape. Okay, I get that this is common in stories like this, whether used in movies or TV shows. But you know what? The fact that the story had little connection to the song ISN'T the ONLY thing that didn't make sense. The girl was gunned down, but how in the hell was she hanging on the ladder the way she was? Wouldn't she fall? Watch the video to see for yourself.
Don't get me wrong, this is one of my favorite Keith Sweat songs and he is also a singer who I admire, but the video just confuses the hell out of me. I even felt the same way when I saw it as a 10-year-old.

Yeah, someone thought THAT was a good idea Man that is the second most baffling music video featuring Shia Labouff I have ever seen.. Not kidding Sigur Ròs have one too, but I’m not linking it due to full frontal nudity... yeah!

"Bleed" by Meshuggah has some genuinely uncomfortable weirdness. Not going to link because naked guys.
Absolutely spectacular track, though.

They did air a "special" of this show here in the States after the video became a hit. I remember watching. Was centered mainly around Spock, as this was around the time Star Trek nostalgia was a big deal. Spock puts on a mask "Nobody will recognize me in this." Guy: "Hey! Mister Spock! What's new?!" Spock: "Oh, I forgot the hat." (Never mind he has cartoonishly huge ears, lol.)

Not sure what y'all mean calling most of these confusing. Weird and bizarre on some of them sure, but I'm not getting the "confusing" out of it on them?
