The fact that Jim Cornette and Bruce Prichard have been very hard on The Young Bucks for years, just to see them start their own promotion is kinda amazing.
Pro Wrestling is an amazing place where anyone can end up being your boss. Both Paul E and Eric Bischoff went from being commentators to running their own promotions on network TV.

The Gary Michael Cappetta story about Iron Mike Sharpe knocking him out of the ring with his forearm wrap (when it was considered lethal).
He hit his head on the guardrail and had a concussion, yet Phil Zacko demanded he get up and promote the next month's show post-haste.
Gary stayed down to sell the forearm. Zacko got pissed.

Russo trying and failing to partner with churches for his Ring of Glory promotion, who wanted nothing to do with wrestling due to how vulgar wrestling on TV had become...something Russo himself had been one of the major culprits of causing.

WWE relying heavily on 40+ year old stars over the last 10 years after making fun of WCW for using wrestlers in their late 30's and early 40's.

During the lead-up to Wrestlemania 12 they would mock WCW for using old stars from the 80's like Hogan and Savage, while at the same time relaying on 80's stars Warrior/Piper/Jake The Snake for that same Wrestlemania.

This reminds me of something I saw on tv years ago. Just flipping around, I come across one of the religious channels, and who do I see? Sting and the Million Dollar Man. Now, I know they're religious, so I wanna see what they're doing. Keep in mind, Sting is in full Crow gear, facepaint and everything. DiBiase is the heel, Sting is the face, and they're in a ring. Sting gets swarmed by a bunch of Dibiase's henchmen, and he gets tied up in the ropes. Dibiase is taunting Sting. Sting lets out a very loud, "Help me, Jesus!" and gets out of the ropes. Sting then proceeds to get his BASEBALL BAT and starts wailing on the henchmen while DiBiase gets out of Dodge. I had to laugh that apparently Jesus was cool with somebody beating the shit out of people with a baseball bat. I was just like, "Wow. That just happened."

Vince crying and bitching that Ted Turner stole his lunch money when he did the same to every f***ing promoter. After what the NWA did to f*** over Ann Gunkel, I don't feel bad for really any of them, either. The only real difference between what Vince and Crockett did was Vince had a better infrastructure. If they had won, we'd be hearing them moralizing about whoever filled the void.

Would it count as irony to say that I think Bret had way better matches with Scott Hall and Nash, despite HBK being the workhorse?
It's weird. Shawn certainly is a great wrestler, but I feel like anytime he was paired with another workhorse, the end result isn't very compelling, between Hart and Hennig.

And I’m sure Ray Gunkel f***ed someone over to get Georgia and if I’m not mistaken his widow had no problem with exploiting his accidental death in the ring. It’s the rasslin business filled of thieves and scumbags.

Vince crying and bitching that Ted Turner stole his lunch money when he did the same to every f***ing promoter. In some cases, it wasn't that black and white, and other factors led to the downfalls of other promoters being too easy. (I gotta buy that Death of the Territories book...)

This may be in retrospect, but ECW saying the big two only had bad wrestling that didn't compare to theirs...I can think of more WWF/E and WCW matches that hold up better than really good ECW matches did. Also, decrying silly gimmickry when ECW had several examples of silliness of its own (original version of the Dudleys for instance...)

Do it, it goes into detail why everyone other than Vince collapsed. It also didn’t helped that Vince signed away the top guys from the major territories and then ran their towns with those same guys.
