I’m glad because I’m really fed up with having nobody to discuss this with. There’s so much to say, man!

Just got out from seeing it. Without hyperbole, it has some of the best fight scenes ever committed to film.
"Hey, John... that was a really good fight!"

And then he and Winston turned into NO GOOD TRAITORS! How DARE you?!

For those that have seen it.....better than the first two? It’s a weird question to answer because the context for 3 comes from seeing 1 and 2 and how those paid off. I think 2 was the “weakest” of the trilogy but I honestly think it’s the best action trilogy of the last decade so that really isn’t saying much. 1 has a special place in my heart because I never expected it to be THAT good but man...3 just has so much.

Yeah 1 came out of nowhere with how good it was. I liked part 2 as well. The trailer for part 3 didn't get me as hyped as I thought it would but the reactions I've seen from people who have seen it have been universally good so far.

Maybe if The Raid ever gets a third movie there'd be some competition but seeing as that dont seem likely its easily the best trilogy in the past couple of decades.

That second Raid movie annoyed me so much because even though I get the story they were telling and any other film, it’d have been fine...there was WAY too much plot in The Raid 2. And damnit, I didn’t come into The Raid 2 for the plot! Even if some of those fight scenes are f***ing cool as all hell.

One thing I really appreciate is the variety of the fight scenes, both in terms of use of location and lighting as well as choreography and use of weapons and environment. f***ing great stuff.

Just got back from seeing it. Loved it so much. Amazing how many great fight scenes can be in one movie, with enough intrigue and drama to keep you hooked.
