I enjoyed the movie very much, but I am not a big fan of these cliffhanger endings. I just want to see Wick get a happy ending for once, if only for a few hours before the next sequel picks up. This poor dude has been battling nonstop since they stole his car and killed his dog.

He's going up against the High Table, they're about as 'final boss' as it gets.

This poor dude has been battling nonstop since they stole his car and killed his dog. I think that’s the actual beauty of these movies for me. You want John to get that happy ending and live the life he once had but the world building in them has shown that it comes either at a price or even that it’s less than impossible. {Spoiler}Or if John has to wipe out the entire damn High Table to do it. Deadly Assassin Hobos vs. Sophisticated Deadly Assassins? That’s money right there.

My dream would be John turning to the best people he knows who work outside the system, the Payday Crew.

Honestly, my weird dream scenario is that John builds an army consisting of other people who’ve had lone assassin movies after John Wick so Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde (yes I know that movie was in the 80s but it can work!), Taraji P. Henson in Proud Mary, Dan Stevens in The Guest etc {Spoiler} And they can all beat up Winston because WHY WINSTON WHY?! 😭

I don't believe John would hold that against him seeing as John didn't kill him and Winston knew full well what he was doing. He saved John in the end.

I just wanted to keep kayfabe on it until his plan’s revealed.

Just saw it. I'd rank it about equal to the second one with the first being a bit better than both of them.

I think the fights are the best yet, but the first one might be the better film, just because it’s so clean and simple.

I think the fights are the best yet, but the first one might be the better film, just because it’s so clean and simple. So I don’t know if I said this story before; My then girlfriend and I went to see a film together and one of the trailers that played was for the first John Wick, which implied that Keanu Reeves was going to get revenge because his dog died. She belly laughed and I sighed mostly because it seemed super ridiculous and dumb. But to her credit, she was adamant we go see it for that reason. I’m not usually someone who sets out to see films I think will be bad but on the other hand, John Wick was at Fantastic Fest and it got massive critical acclaim so maybe there was something to it. I bowed to pressure and went to see it. My point is John Wick had zero right to be as good as it was. Absolutely none. Hell, even the dog killing in the trailer was practically joke worthy whilst in the film, there’s importance to it. The other two films benefited from that film being good because they also were great. I will say my ranking right now is John Wick, John Wick 3 and then John Wick 2. But that’s like going “My favorite pizza toppings are Pepperoni, Salami and Chicken”. It’s all still pizza so they all still win.

I ended up seeing the first one because they put him in Payday 2 as a member of the Payday gang, and I thought that was just cool as a way to advertise their film. Just a free new character to a solid, thematically appropriate game.

Honestly, I kinda want to see Hugo and Keanu on the same team. Plus I want John Leguizamo (with John's restores car) and David Patrick Kelly to show up at some point.

No Leguizamo was my only problem with Chapter 3 and I would have taken points away...but Mad Dog, man...

Just got back from seeing it and oh my God was it awesome!!!! I can honestly say that it's been a while since fight scenes like that have left me on the edge of my seat and my heart racing {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} I especially loved Mark Dacascos' character. The way he geeked out over being able to sit down and talk to John Wick was so great. He had a menace about him, but he balanced it with a joy that was so awesome. The 2 guys from The Raid movies did the same thing and I was just itching to see Wick and Mad Dog fight. He did let them live too and he said to them that he'd be seeing them, so maybe they will be joining him in the next movie? Imagine John Wick and Mad Dog fighting side by side!!! Cassian may still be alive too so seeing him join that army could be fun. I want John Wick 4 now dammit!!!

He's one of the most underrated American martial artists working in Hollywood, and is a pretty decent actor to boot. I'd love for him to get a few high profile roles out of this showing.
